500 Blank Playing Cards

These cards are quite tough, and when you write on them with sharpie, it doesn't come off or smudge. The box contains a huge number and I used them in the classroom - you can play card games with them OK, but they do stick together sometimes.

Excellent Quality. So good you should really only use them for re-usable things like flash cards, rather than throw away shopping lists.

Nice cards in a tough corrugated cardboard box. There are about 500. It would be quite nice if they told us how many before we brought them. Coated card so you need to use a permanent marker on them. They shuffle well and are consistently-shaped. All in all they feel like regular playing cards.. but they are, of course, blank so you can decorate them with whatever you fancy.

Exactly what I was after - Good sturdy box and the cards are of decent quality. Wrote all over them with various colours using some fineliners from Staedtler. After a minute or so to dry they don't smudge.

Bought these for a fun game and have used them for so many different projects since. World recommend them as perfect price and quality.

This collection contains _approximately_ 500 cards (counted by stacking up 100 of them and using that to measure the rest). They measure 58.5mm x 89.5mm (give or take a small fraction of a millimeter), which means that they have the perfect height for typical Ultra-Pro card sleeves (which are 66mm x 91mm), but are not quite as wide as such sleeves, leaving a total of about 5mm of gap between the edges of a card and its sleeve. They can be used with such sleeves, but don't expect them to fit snuggly. They are as thick/sturdy as any typical playing cards. Other reviewers have reported different levels of glossiness for both sides of the cards, but my two sets have identical front and back sides, both partially, but not completely, glossy. They can be written on by common Stabilo pens, but such ink will smear if not giving a long time to dry. Non-permanent markers also smear badly on this surface. i recommend using permanent markers (Sharpie or similar) or using stickers or stick-on labels. Glue from a glue-stick appears to hold relatively well, despite the gloss, meaning that these cards can potentially be used as card-stock for gaming counters printed on plain paper, glued to the cards, then cut out to their proper size. Likewise for paper miniatures and similar gaming accessories. In terms of cost per unit, this is easily the most cost-effective set of blank cards i have seen to-date, and readily recommend it to anyone who requires blank or customized cards, provided they fit the user's size requirements. My only wish is that the cards were 5mm wider so that they fit snuggly in typical Ultra-Pro card sleeves. Nonetheless, they are usable with such sleeves, as well having a nice weight for cardstock counters and paper miniatures, making them an immensely useful accessory for my gaming needs.

These cards are thick enough to remain opaque, even in front of a 1000 lumen lightbulb. They work perfectly with BIC Intensity permanent markers and Sharpie permanent markers. They work very well with Staedtler Triplus Fineliner markers, my personal favourite, but require a few seconds to dry. They do not work well with Uniball Vision Elites as the ink takes hours to dry. The two images below are from either side of a single card. Both sides are coated, so it’s not like I can identify front and back. The writing experience is equivalent. The finest lines are from Triplus Fineliners. The very smeared inks are from Uniball Vision Elite pens. The thicker lines are from the fine point BIC and Sharpie markers. Each ink was given only 2 seconds to dry to simulate what it's like if you brush them while writing. The Triplus Fineliners do not streak if you let them dry for 20 seconds. These are excellent for Flashcards. They are great for homemade games. Beware: there is no tolerance for errors since you must work with quick-dry permanent markers.

decent product for play-testing. cant print on it, but with a permanent marker you can write on it and that did the job for me. and good value for money. the best available among the lot.
