Outstanding product bought as a 2nd TV picture is outstanding my main TV is a Samsung Q90 as reference. On setup it did a software update got BBC iPlayer as well as all the rest ITVX etc all work perfectly well. Sound is very good so at present I have not connected a soundbar. The Google system works incredibly fast no problems with the android system it's like a giant mobile phone, in addition it seems smoother and faster than my Samsung Q90 system. I took a chance buying this TV at £390 down from it's original £800+ at this price it is an absolute bargain. Highly recommended I would buy the larger screen version to replace my Samsung if it went wrong with no hesitation.

Purchased because I dont think anyone makes 50in OLED panels and I needed that size. Excellent black levels and no sign of blooming around bright zones on black background. I mainly use this as a monitor for the AV amp, so nice to be able to set startup to "last input" but beyond that I cant speak for the built in software/apps etc or the sets audio quality. Copes well with all the resolutions coming through my AV amp from other sources. Generally even but some loss of brightness near corners but not enough to bother me when actually watching movies Good viewing at pretty extreme angles. One person sits at about 30 degrees off the plane of the screen and when I have tried that locn there is no noticeable colour distortion. We have a couple of 4K OLEDS so they are my reference against which I compare. One frustration is that these screens with LED matrix backlighting the set specifications really should state the led matrix rezoloution as well as the LCD resolution but very hard to find that for any of these sets and I gave up looking in the end.

Had the TV a little while now, and it's easy to set up and get going. Very nice picture quality. Seems well built. Had no problems like the OS being slow. Would recommend.

Bought this tv as the specs were amazing for the price, mini led, 144hz, good peak brightness. We de boxed the tv set and set up and was having a flick around the apps and channels and all seemed well! The picture looked beautiful and the Google is was working perfectly! I was thinking this tv is an absolute bargain considering the prices of TVs around this spec I.e sony, lg, well it quickly turned into a nightmare as having the tv set up I nipped into the kitchen to make a brew and heard a loud pop In the living room. Went back in and could smell burning on the back of the tv and all power to the screen had gone. So literally 5mins of screen on time and it died😕 was gutted as the tv was a really nice looking premium set but it doesn't fill you with confidence buying a brand that lasts 5 mins so we put back in the box and sent back to amazon. I understand other people will have different experiences with tcl but for me I would honestly stick to lg or sony for product reliability as never had a tv fail like this ever.

The panel is great. Dolby vision is great. Google TV is okay but doesn't integrate well with Netflix. This TV is not Freeview or BBC iPlayer certified so you can't get any of those apps. As a workaround TCL will send you an Amazon Firestick with those apps. This will leave you with an extra remote control and those apps will not integrate with Google TV at all. Also TCL will only send you a 1080p Firestick even though this is a 4k TV. Also bear in mind that their support is very weak. This ignore social media channels and email and only have a phone line with terrible audio quality so you can't hear their agents well. Basically, don't buy this TV if you live in the UK.

Fantastic tv for the price, great for gaming with a great specialised game mode, and very decent sound. Not to mention the fantastic picture, especially if watching Dolby-supported content.

After two months of use I feel confident on writing this review. Right off the bat, the tv’s quality is really good, and for simple, every day use it’s more than enough. But here’s where the ‘fun’ ends, as getting all those features it has to work accordingly can be a pain in the a**. Image quality is amazing, local dimming is spectacular and with HDR it’s just spectacular. I had a really tough time to get it to run 4k 144hz HDR VRR; and still haven’t been able to run VRR on 144hz as the image cuts out briefly when 144hz VRR. I settled for 120hz instead, but I’m not disappointed. It has its gimmicks, somethings can be frustrating, but I believe it’s worth it; the picture quality of this TV is just breathtaking. If you’re going to use it just for Media/console then by all means, go for it. If you’re going to also use it as monitor I’d consider other options as well.
