This sink is wonderful! Upgraded from a stainless steel double basin to this one. It is deeper & does not have to be continually dried after using to prevent water spots!! The water stays warmer longer which somehow makes the Dawn bubbles last longer (?!!). It looks beautiful, was relatively easy to install with the directions and template included, and had the extra bonus of including both strainers (nice & heavy duty) as well as a silicone hand mitt that my husband loves because he can actually fit his big beefy, hand in it! And the absolute best thing is that it can be under or over mount. We currently have it over-mounted because we have not yet expanded our kitchen but needed to replace the faucet (which led to replacing the sink as well) but when we expand the kitchen and put in new countertops, we will undermount it. We both absolute love this sink!!!!

Just finished installing our new Kraus sink. So much richer looking than the stainless-steel unit we had. Arrived in perfect shape. Was skeptical about retaining brackets but found them super easy to use and secured the sink well. Our counter top thickness is almost 2". Time will tell whole story but appears to be well crafted and hopefully durable.

I wanted to update and replace our kitchen sink in our home that was built in 1896. I think the kitchen sink that was replaced came into the house shortly after it was built and was in pretty bad shape. The trip to Home Depot and Lowes only yielded the same old stainless sinks and I wanted something different. So off to E-Bay and Amazon to see what else was out there. This caught my eye and after three days of searching, I came back to this one and placed my order. It arrived early and the delivery person (Not Amazon) left it outside and did not close the gate. It was standing on the end of the box, but upon opening for inspection, found it was not damaged. I also ordered a soap dispenser to complete the upgrade. I already had a new faucet so the wait then for the plumber to come and install. The two gentlemen that did the work completed the install in just over 3 hours. And what a transformation it was. The sink goes very well with the other black appliances and accents in the kitchen. The deep bowls are wonderful to get buckets and other tall items in and out. Best of all is how quiet it is when running water into it. Cleanup is very easy so far, my plumber said to use a light coat of olive oil to maintain the luster on the sink interior. No negatives so far except for the charge to install, and that is not the sinks fault! Otherwise very happy, Michael

We were surprised at the audacity of the KRAUS sink manufacturer to place a small metal plaque on the back wall of the sink proudly proclaiming their quality craftsmanship. And, rightly so. To me a sink, was a sink, was a sink... until we bought this & our plumber installed it. It dropped into same opening as our old sink. That's where the similarities ended. Who would ever have thought having a deeper sink would make a difference. It made it easier to soak 13x9 casserole dishes flat. The ability to fill stew pots & rinse items without worry of water splattering everywhere. The texture & color, amazing. The nice rounded edges. If we ever need to buy another sink, we will definitely look through their product line before considering any other brand. BTW, matching the black KRAUS sink with Champagne Bronze DELTA faucet & other sink accessories was a good choice. Overall, we're very pleased with our purchase. Would we recommend to family & friends? Absolutely. Additional Comments: It is now been 8 months since we installed the new kitchen sink. We're still amazed every time we use the sink. What quality! It should last for years. The texture & color are amazing. The size & convenience doubly so. Definitely glad after all our research, that we chose the right sink. It is now longer a sink is a sink... The KRAUS Forteza 33-inch Drop in/Undermount 50/50 Double Bowl Granite Kitchen Sink is above all others.

I just moved and did a partial kitchen remodel including replacing the stainless steel sink with this one. I had the same sink in the home I moved from and loved it so much that I absolutely had to get another one for the new house. No stains, no water marks, super strong and durable. I never worry about putting hot pans in the sink. Best of all, it looks beautiful. I would highly recommend to anyone replacing a stainless steel or porcelain sink.

Love the sink but just installed it yesterday..time will tell….it’s beautiful! Dropped right in to where the old sink was…. We didn’t use the clips, good bead of silicon all the way around and the weight of the thing will hold it in place. Clips were not used on my old heavy sink and it never moved with the silicon. It had humps where the clips were to be attached, and not smooth all the way around underneath, but it’s ok after the silicone. I was afraid it would be slightly raised but it appears to sit flat on the countertop. First sink arrived with the corner broken off. I knew to check it immediately because I had read the reviews and so many were received broken. I contacted Amazon on chat and they issued a pickup notice for the next day, and once the driver scanned it and credit was issued I reordered immediately. Bad new was that in 3 days the price went up 29$ which didn’t seem right to me, but I ordered anyway…the wait was much longer (fast one arrived quickly) so I checked on it and although it was shipped it never arrived. Presumed lost, so back on to Amazon’s chat who immediate reshipped. 3rd attempt arrived ok and installer came. Loving the sink and the new faucet ordered at the same original time. I think it’s a 5 star sink but had to drop to 4 because of the hassle to get it here in one piece. Nice drain baskets, more attractive than ones in the past. I will update later as to stain resistance, etc as haven’t had it a full 24 hours yet.

We were replacing our kitchen countertops and sink at our summer condo and had used a similar sink years before in our primary residence. Aside from the under-counter mount, the appearance of this sink gave an updated look, adding a black accent to the decor. Installation was easy and plumbing hookup was routine. I did not use the included drain / strainer baskets as they were plastic and I preferred to recycle the higher quality parts from the previous sink. This sink has performed well after about four months of regular use. We are careful to use a mat while washing dishes in one side of the divided sink, and a wire rack drain in the opposite side. Cleanup after each use is a matter of rinse off and wipe down. When the surface gets a bit dull, restoring the original sheen and depth of color is easily accomplished by applying a light coating of regular mineral oil, available at most pharmacies. Reviews of the product prior to purchase were replete with reports of the shipping box being heavily damaged and, in some cases, the sink was damaged beyond use. I was not surprised to find the box badly damaged on delivery (it was left on our driveway). I carefully unpacked the sink and checked for damage and found none, fortunately. With the knowledge that there could be damage in shipping and that you may need to return the product, I would not hesitate to purchase this sink again. Perhaps the company will upgrade their packaging to better protect the product in shipping. Perhaps if this sink were to have been purchased in a big box store, it would have had handling less likely to result in damage. The package is rather large for one UPS delivery person to deliver with ease. Just be advised.

I love my new sink. The depth is perfect and it fits into a standard size hole. I have old Granite tiles on my counter and it hid the old rim. The two negative things I would say is it's impossible to punch the hole out without breaking it. My installer broke the corner trying to do this. You have to use the correct Diamond Tool carefully. The other thing is it gets a little hazy. I have not found a good cleaning product for it yet. I would still highly recommend it the extras that come with it are very nice quality and found a screen made from the same manufacturer that sits on top one side that I love.

Really like the sink. Nice and deep and so far easy to clean. Plumber said he wasn’t cracked on the gasket for drain but it works.
