This sink is wonderful! Upgraded from a stainless steel double basin to this one. It is deeper & does not have to be continually dried after using to prevent water spots!! The water stays warmer longer which somehow makes the Dawn bubbles last longer (?!!). It looks beautiful, was relatively easy to install with the directions and template included, and had the extra bonus of including both strainers (nice & heavy duty) as well as a silicone hand mitt that my husband loves because he can actually fit his big beefy, hand in it! And the absolute best thing is that it can be under or over mount. We currently have it over-mounted because we have not yet expanded our kitchen but needed to replace the faucet (which led to replacing the sink as well) but when we expand the kitchen and put in new countertops, we will undermount it. We both absolute love this sink!!!!

Just finished installing our new Kraus sink. So much richer looking than the stainless-steel unit we had. Arrived in perfect shape. Was skeptical about retaining brackets but found them super easy to use and secured the sink well. Our counter top thickness is almost 2". Time will tell whole story but appears to be well crafted and hopefully durable.

I wanted to update and replace our kitchen sink in our home that was built in 1896. I think the kitchen sink that was replaced came into the house shortly after it was built and was in pretty bad shape. The trip to Home Depot and Lowes only yielded the same old stainless sinks and I wanted something different. So off to E-Bay and Amazon to see what else was out there. This caught my eye and after three days of searching, I came back to this one and placed my order. It arrived early and the delivery person (Not Amazon) left it outside and did not close the gate. It was standing on the end of the box, but upon opening for inspection, found it was not damaged. I also ordered a soap dispenser to complete the upgrade. I already had a new faucet so the wait then for the plumber to come and install. The two gentlemen that did the work completed the install in just over 3 hours. And what a transformation it was. The sink goes very well with the other black appliances and accents in the kitchen. The deep bowls are wonderful to get buckets and other tall items in and out. Best of all is how quiet it is when running water into it. Cleanup is very easy so far, my plumber said to use a light coat of olive oil to maintain the luster on the sink interior. No negatives so far except for the charge to install, and that is not the sinks fault! Otherwise very happy, Michael

We were surprised at the audacity of the KRAUS sink manufacturer to place a small metal plaque on the back wall of the sink proudly proclaiming their quality craftsmanship. And, rightly so. To me a sink, was a sink, was a sink... until we bought this & our plumber installed it. It dropped into same opening as our old sink. That's where the similarities ended. Who would ever have thought having a deeper sink would make a difference. It made it easier to soak 13x9 casserole dishes flat. The ability to fill stew pots & rinse items without worry of water splattering everywhere. The texture & color, amazing. The nice rounded edges. If we ever need to buy another sink, we will definitely look through their product line before considering any other brand. BTW, matching the black KRAUS sink with Champagne Bronze DELTA faucet & other sink accessories was a good choice. Overall, we're very pleased with our purchase. Would we recommend to family & friends? Absolutely. Additional Comments: It is now been 8 months since we installed the new kitchen sink. We're still amazed every time we use the sink. What quality! It should last for years. The texture & color are amazing. The size & convenience doubly so. Definitely glad after all our research, that we chose the right sink. It is now longer a sink is a sink... The KRAUS Forteza 33-inch Drop in/Undermount 50/50 Double Bowl Granite Kitchen Sink is above all others.

SO IF YOU HAVE WELL WATER ...DONT BUY !!! THE SINK WILL NOT LIKE THE HARD WATER IT WILL TURN WHITE! AND ONCE YOU HAVE IT INTALLED YOUR STUCK ! NO WARNING PROVIDED .

The sink is a really great sink. It looks great but has some problems with the mounting screws/brackets. Apparently 30% of the pre-drilled screw holes were not deep enough for the length of the screws that were provided. As soon as I went to tighten them the last turn, the heads would twist off. What this left me with was almost half of the mounts only have one screw and some didn't get mounted at all. Thank God for gravity and caulking, the sink has not moved a bit. I recommend the sink but I would make sure the holes are deep enough before you mount the sink. One other note, the first sink I received was broken in transit. It took a hard drop on the corner and ended up with a 4 inch crack across the top. Apparently, the foam protectors were missing from the inside of the box on the corner that was broken. The box is clearly marked to use two people to lift it but the UPS delivery person just handled it by himself and it also looked like one of the two box handle cutouts were broken. Inspect the box thoroughly before accepting the delivery if you can. If you can't, make sure you inspect the sink before you install it. I would buy it again but I would make sure the mounting holes are deep enough. Good luck, the sink is really a great looking sink.

Really like the sink. Nice and deep and so far easy to clean. Plumber said he wasn’t cracked on the gasket for drain but it works.
