17 inch 4:3 monitor

Great little monitor and good for the money. Works well on an Archimedes A3010 and supports 15.6 KHz over VGA. The image is crystal clear, and no bad pixels. Happy days.

Amazing for the price, good picture, the build quality is adequate if a little lightweight. Perfect for 4:3 retrogames! Happy to recommend this.

It's fairly cheap. So you have to temper your expectations with that in mind. It also feels very cheap and un-refined plastics, etc. The manual says it's supplied via a 12V AC/DC wall brick... and there is a DC socket on it, but it's also got a permanently wired 240V UK AC mains lead which was a surprise. It's not a great panel - poor viewing angles and has to be tilted backward (it does tilt, a bit, and has VESA mounts) for best colour reproduction. The menu system is accessed via 4 crude buttons on the rear of the monitor, which is very fiddly. There are the 'usual' set of controls for adjustment EXCEPT FOR size, which is really rather disappointing. "Auto adjust" does a reasonable job, but includes the entire screen border, so when using with 'retro' machines at 15kHz, the actual image area is quite small in the centre of the screen, with huuuge borders around, and no way to adjust them. The manual doesn't mention 15kHz compatibility (heck, the manual thinks it's a widescreen...). All that said, there aren't many new monitors that support 15kHz these days so fair enough.

This is a great little monitor for using with retro computers or consoles which I am. Seems like good quality and the logo doesn't bother me at all like some other reviews have mentioned. You can always cover if it does. Does what it should and has VGA input as well as HDMI which is great for retro stuff and all at a very reasonable price. I will probably buy a second one.

I didn't like this monitor, the colour were OK but the viewing angles were not great. When viewed from the side or top/bottom the image looks washed out. I think this is typical for a TN panel, which is mentioned as the panel used in the listing, but you have to see it to understand what that means. If you're stationary and right in front of the screen it will probably be OK. It works fine for the price otherwise.

EXTREMELY MISLEADING MONITOR RECIEVED HAD NO AUDIO PORT

This is a superb monitor. Especially for the price It doesn't say it does but it appears to support 15khz so many old retro computers can be connected directly to the VGA port. My BBC micro's work beautifully with it. But having a VGA and hdmi port as well means any of the normal adaptors will also work. It's not quite 4:3 but it is very close, and much better than a 16:9 screen

I ordered 4 of these items and one is faulty. I have attempted to return but as I am beyond the 30 days the system says I cannot. There must be a warranty on the product which was clearly faulty at time of shipping. I simply want a refund and am happy to return the item. We have had to order an additional unit to allow our operation to run.

Ein gutes Gerät soweit sich das nach wenigen Tagen der Nutzung sagen lässt. Das Einrichten war einfach. Lediglich die Bedienknöpfe sind etwas ungeschickt auf der Rückseite des Geräts angebracht. Was es vorallem älteren Nutzern nicht gerade leicht macht die ersten Einstellungen vorzunehmen. Ebenso ist das Ein- Und Ausschalten dadurch etwas umständlich.

Very nice compact monitor. Perfect for the gamer in your family. High definition and great pixel image. Purchased for a beginner computer gamer. Small and easy to store away or kept out without taking up so much space. Hooked up and worked great with his new gaming keyboard. We absolutely love the built in tilt that allows the monitor to more pretty much in any direction with ease. Overall a great gaming monitor and we are very happy with its performance.

Nachdem die Rezensionen relativ durchwachsen waren war ich ein wenig skeptisch bezüglich der Qualität. Nach einigen Betriebsstunden kann ich nur ein sehr positives Fazit ziehen. Der Monitor unterstützt auch 15 kHz, was per se relativ selten ist. Ich habe den Monitor für den Anschluss von älterem gaming Equipment gekauft. Amiga per Adapter funktioniert wunderbar und macht ein wunderbares Bild
