I needed a way to dedicate an area in our living room to the kids only, and that room divider is just perfect ! I only used 4 elements and the one with the gate, and our living room is fairly large ... i did not attach it to the walls, but made it very stable anyway, wich is super easy to do. our youngest is learning to walk by pulling himself up on it, it does NOT move even 1mm ! Our puppy sometimes leans against it and he is huge, same thing : very very sturdy ! the gate is not the easiest I've used but we just step over the barrier so no pb there. if you rather open it, it can be done with one hand, it's just the closing that's a little tricky, but with one foot on the footholds it can be done singlehandedly.it is made of beautiful plain wood, everysingle piece of it, the varnish is oerfectly smooth, absolutely no risk of splinters or anything of the sort.It is very easy to put together. you just need to keep in mind that it does not fold so find a configuration that you won't need to change evryday. but even then, it is not that hard to undo and move (had to do it to clean the carpets, took about 5-10 minutes to take apart and put back together).I DEFINITLY recommend this product, it is worth every penny as it will obviously last us a lifetime ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Looking, Very Large *by C***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 June 2014* This is a good quality playpen. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that some peices weren't perfect, for example, each fence element fixes together with a wooden batten, one of which had a split in it, so basic quality control lacking there. Also where the battens fit into the fence panels, the panels themselves vary by a few mm in tolerance, meaning some of the battens go in very loose and wrattle around (which our 9 month old has already discovered and is using them as a toy!) and some require a lot of force to position in place, almost to the point where you feel like you're going to break something.I thought there would be more layout possibilities, such as a rectangle, but no, it's the octagon or the room divider only.Overall though it's well made and sturdy, looks nice and is very large, which is what we wanted to allow our daughter room to play and crawl. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Check carefuly which side you going to assembly it before you do it *by N***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 August 2013* It was a struggle to assemble it. Many bottom holes were just 2-3mm off center. I was half way through already when I realized that it was not going to work out. Only then I tried the crazy idea about disassembling it back and assemble it again turning each part inside out. Then it worked well.So, before you drive some screws, take one element and just decide inside and outside (it doesn't matter). Then check if all other elements will fit in before driving any screws. If you find a couple of holes off center, then you find out that it really matters which side is in and which is out. Turn it inside out and build it :) The only catch is that the door will be either left hand or right hand. My is could be assembled exactly as shown in the picture (sigh, I should have realized that before :)), so the door is right hand - clockwise in. I looks to me that they only made it to be assembled that way.We love the playpen, that's for sure. Finally we have at least a few minutes for doing other things then watching our 7months old son constantly. He likes to be there as well, cruising around and smiling :D Mummy can't imagine not having this playpen a single day. It's huge (~2m diameter) and fits 1mm exactly to the corner in our living room.
