I have 3 or 4 different "gun" magnets. These are the strongest I have used and much too strong for use as refrigerator magnets--they are just too strong to easily remove. Because of their small size, consider hanging a loaded, medium or large handgun vertically from the top of its slide. Have not tried it, but suspect hanging a loaded 1911MA on the side of the slide will result it it rotating to "butt down" position. Also, be careful when handling both simultaneously to avoid allowing them to snap together and causing a blood blister on your hand.....good luck! The surface has small "chevrons", that seem to be protective to the handgun finish. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great *by D***G on Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2018* Better than other gun magnets I’ve used, should hold almost any handgun with just one magnet. The coating is permanent, meaning it won’t come off of the magnet with the rubber covering with a sticky mess of double sided tape that doesn’t stay on the magnet When you take your gun off. Also, strong enough to hold a gun, but you don’t gave to fight like crazy if 2 magnets would happen to get stuck together, so, more than strong enough for their intended purpose, but not so strong that you end up pulling your hair out trying to unattach them from a gun safe or another magnet. ### ⭐⭐ Small *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2018* Very small.
