Good colour

I bought this Brown pen to re-colour some large paperclips which it does and the colour is dark brown which is exactly what I wanted BUT unfortunately days after they are still sticky and I cannot get the paint to go off!! I also bought a gold one from the same manufacturers and this dries perfectly!!
