All of their books are good but online support promised does not exist. No flashcards, no extra verb drills. Otherwise great. But expect the book and nothing but the book. I suggest you do the exercises on a different piece of paper. Doing it all over again us also useful

This is a very comprehensive guide to French grammar and explains every major rule. A great starting point if you’re looking to improve your French.

Helped me with my French

Book arrived slightly damaged, but the book itself has everything I needed. Just a B2 Francophone who needs some grammar points explained differently and this book will do that for me just like the Spanish version has already done for me, and I know the Italian version will do likewise! I'm going to be a polyglot!

I was disappointed in this book. Instead of an in-depth review of French, which one can use to learn French, thus book is just a quick review - 1. It give a brief review of each topic in a couple of sentences, usualy without detail of when or how or why to use the grammar point 2. It often ignores explaining exceptions to the rule 3. Then the book gives approximately 10 practice questions on the subject. Thus, you must already be familiar with French and need a quick reminder to get anything out of this book. Do NOT use it to learn French. It does not have the depth nor the complexity to do that well.

I'm following a French course and bought this as supplementary material for self study. For me it is perfect, but without following the course I would be a bit lost as the book does not discuss every concept that is not directly relevant to the topic of the chapter. For example, in the first chapter, there are exercises to practice present tense conjugation - but gendered nouns and the plural indefinite article are not discussed. How can you write a proper sentence then?

Excelente libro para usar de guía con bases previamente adquiridas en clases o empíricamente, sí eres completamente principiante también es útil pero tendrás que investigar además muchas cosas más desde pronunciación y comprensión lectora/auditiva. En resumen, un excelente libro si eres principiante o si eres avanzado y quieres refrescar tus conocimientos mediante algunos ejercicios para practicar.

I was a little reluctant to purchase this due to the reviews about the quality of the paper, but they have fixed the issue and the paper is certainly think enough now.
