We used this for a new baby ferret. It was very good at first, especially because she loved when we slid our fingers along the outside and made her hop and run around like crazy. It was also very easy to clean when she had accidents and gave her plenty of room to romp around. The design is adorable. The balls are light and easy for her to push around and play with.On the negative side, it was too short and she soon learned to hop up, grab the top, and bend it down to climb out. We still use it but only when we can supervise her constantly. The balls are a bit too small so she can actually hold them and bite holes and squish them. We bought more balls at Walmart that are slightly bigger but same colors and materials and they work better.I have no idea how this would work for a small child, though I suspect the sides are too flimsy to contain a baby.

I originally bought this just as a ball pit, but ended up using it while traveling through airports. It's super easy to fold up and it slides right into the front pocket of a carryon or diaper bag. We didn't bring the balls in the carryon, just a few toys in the diaper bag. We did put the balls in gallon ziplocks and sent them in the checked bag so he could play with them at the airbnb. This gave us a clean safe space for my son, who was 10-months old at the time, to play, lay, and stretch out on layovers. We gave him some toys and snacks, and he was able to enjoy himself. It was also an easy and clean space to change him rather than waiting in line for the bathroom changing tables. It just pops open and stays up. He's still using it at nearly 18-months old. It's easy for him to get in and out of, and it helps contain his mess. Every day use, and he's a rough boy, and there's just a couple places where there's a loose thread. It's held up better than I expected.The balls he chews on, throws, sits on, and they're still like new.I highly recommend the pit if you're traveling with infants. Or, if you want an easy set up for kids to play keep their toys contained.

My grandson LOVED IT !!!!

This is a small ball pit which is perfect for 3 yr old and younger. My grandson loves it. You will need to order additional balls as it only comes with 50 which doesn't even fill the bottom. I ordered 3 packages of 200 balls so it really is now a ball pit. The balls seem to hold up well and don't crunch when my 10 year old grandson decides to climb in. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

The balls are actually smaller than a regular ball in a ball pit. This was originally for a baby shower, but due to the dangers of the ball and my two kids loving it, we kept it. Personally, I would of used this just for the pen for my baby because it is large enough to put your activity mat inside of it and very compact. My kids are using it now and they love their mini ball pit. Don't know how much roughness it will take since this wasn't made for their rough play.
