This is not a cheap dagger, but I bought it as it looked good, and my son can tie it round this waist (he's going as Tom from Beast Quest to book week at school next week). The rope shown in the picture is much longer than it looks and easily goes round my 7 yr olds waist. The leather sheath is well made and fits the dagger perfectly, with a lovely cut out around the wooden handle. The dagger itself has the end rounded off, but otherwise is nicely tapered and looks brilliant. The rope handle is great as well. I've only just got it, but my son loves it and I'm sure it will last a long time. I hesitated to spend this much, but I'm really glad I did - it will last both my sons through many hours of play and dressing up assemblies at school!

Used it at a medieval banquet. Really looked good.

My little boy was made up with this. Very light but well made.I checked before giving it to my son for imperfections and there was one or two chips were he could get a splinter so I sanded it a little for a smooth finish.Over all very satisfied. Bought for a 5 year old knight. A refreshing change from the shiny plastic versions. Comes in a very medieaval felted scabbard, with a rope belt. 66cm long, so quite impressive!

E' a tutta l'evidenza uno spadone e non un "pugnale" (così come invece appare nella descrizione dell'oggetto, probabilmente per via di una traduzione automatica malriuscita). Una bella e robusta spada di legno (i cui bordi e punta sono tutti arrotondati per evitare che i bimbi si facciano troppo male), con altrettanto bella fodera in cordoncino leggero. Agli occhi dei bambini può passare - per fattezze e forma - come ""spada dei vichinghi" o come "spada medievale" (re artù e similari). Non adatta, secondo me, ai bambini sotto i 5 anni.

Toll!Da es hier noch keine Bewertung gab, waren wir etwas unsicher, ob wir uns diese Säbel zulegen sollen, oder nicht, aber, Versuch macht klug!Die Versandkosten waren zwar sehr abschreckend, aber dazu gleich mehr.So, bestellt, zwei Stück, zwei mal Versandkosten, das fanden wir sehr merkwürdig, aber wir haben usn gedacht "Mal schauen". Und ich bin froh, dass wir es doch gemacht haben. Die Säbel kamen recht zügig an, in einer Verpackung. Mein Gedanke war, da fragen wir doch mal nach, ob wir dafür ernsthaft doppelten Versand bezahlen sollen.Dann erstmal die beiden ausgepackt, machten einen stabilen eindruck. Echtholz, die Klinge ist aus einem Teil. Das Muster ist, vermutlich , mit einem Brandstempel eingebrannt. Macht das ganze Stück nochmal edler. Insgesamt von der Länger her, ist es für unsere groß geratene 3Jährige etwas zu groß und unhandlich, aber da wächst sie noch rein. Unseren zu klein geratenem 6jährigen hingegen liegt er gut in der Hand, und es macht Spaß, mit ihnen zu kämpfen.So, die Versandkosten, bevor ich mich auch nur beim Verkäufer melden konnte wegen der Sache mit den Versandkosten, habe ich eine EMail im Postfach gehabt, dass wir eine Gutschrift erhalten, in Höhe der Versandkosten von 4,00€. Also mussten wir doch nur einmal Versandkosten bezahlen. Und das auch noch der Verkäufer sich zu erst gemeldet hat, und von sich aus dies in die Wege geleitet hat. Einfach super. Wenn wir wieder mal was aus dieser Richtung brauchen, suchen wir erstmal dort! Wir sind sehr zufrieden.Zwei Monate haben wir sie nun schon in Gebrauch, bis jetzt ist weder was gebrochen, noch gesplittert. Klar hat es ein paar Dehlen vom Kämpfen, aber das bleibt ja nciht aus. Ich gehe nicht davon aus, dass es in nächster Zeit irgendwie im Spielen kaputt gehen kann. Ich bin super zufrieden und kann es nur empfehlen. Für diesen Preis sowieso.
