I have had so many problems with my eyes in the past year or so... three eye infections all at once, dry eyes, scratched eyes, headaches from all these eye problems... My eyes are naturally always dry so this is nothing to me. I'm at uni and have to spend ALOT of time in front of a PC; Semester 1 last year I could barely do this and my work suffered a lot. I was starting an internship this summer and I needed to find out how my eyes were doing, as they were still continually sore, but I thought a lot of my infection issues were continuing... Turns out infections were all fine. But now that they'd cleared up and all the inflammation was gone she could see the real issue (prior to this I was at an awful opticians): my eyes are covered in scratches, some of which penetrate too deep to heal anymore. I've had issues with just plain water based drops, and the ingredients in a lot of eyedrops I react badly to - but this gel was recommended to me as it is free from anything that would irritate my eyes. The instant I began to use this product there was relief. It felt like my eyelids were gliding over my eyes - I honestly have never had my eyes feel this good in all my life. I have been able to sit at the PC all day on days where I am stuck in the office... without any pain. The first few days here it was rough, but I just began to take the drops to work and use a little gel when it got sore. But after a few weeks it just stopped being an issue and I haven't really had to use Vismed at all. When I went back to the opticians last week, she said the surface scratches have mostly healed up. (The deeper ones can't heal, but I can use this gel to minimise the discomfort.) She said I could now resume wearing contact lenses if I wanted - I've not been able to for a year. Even prior to that lenses have been uncomfortable because of my dry eyes... So this week twice I've worn lenses, with amazingly great outcome. In the morning I put the gel on my eyes before getting ready, then just before leaving the house I put the lenses in. No discomfort, couldn't even feel my lenses on my eyes. At midday I added a precautionary few more drops to my eyes. I managed to last from 8am - 7pm with my lenses in... I've never managed that before in my life. A lot of my good fortune with my eyes lately has been due to patience. But Vismed Gel has cleared up the last issue and removed a discomfort issue I've always had. I love this stuff!

Better than ordinary drops

Not the best eyedrop I have used. Seemed to make my eyes feel dryer when it was used several times throughout the day. However used once or twice during the day it provided a reasonable level of comfort

this is my second time purchasing the same product. Great purchase. would recommend it.
