I got this product based off of a video I watched with James Hoffman where he compared it with others like it. I keep my beans in the bag that they came in and then I close that bag and place the bag in this container per the manufacturer’s recommendation. I have found that this product does indeed keep the beans fresh. At least I haven’t noticed any difference in the taste or crema. I will preface that I do get my beans roasted fresh and that I go through them in about a months time. So with that being said this product works very well for my set up.

This is at least my 4th or 5th purchase over the years. These continue to deliver on ease of use, design, air-tight seal, and overall quality. I have several of this size, and a few of the smaller ones. 5 out of 5 stars, I am sure I will buy more in the future. The BEST way to store coffee beans hands down!

I love my coffee and being in a condo now I don’t have the luxury of a lot of items out, so this allows me to buy ground and to keep them fresh as if I were grinding them daily myself. Easy to use and love the color and function.

I got the 500gram coffee vac V professional (I hate these listings where reviews are combined for every product option, don't you?). I thought that like the little tight vacs of like 1 ounce or 3.5 grams that I used to buy to keep medicinal herbs in, I would need to have a bigger one than my weight would be. But coffee is a lot denser than medicinal herbs! I can fit all of a standard bag into one with room to spare. But the thing is purged as you close it. The problem with tight vacs is that you can basically break them over time, if you are not careful to completely break the seal with the button and you let the bottom fall off while picking it up by the cap, it eventually degrades the seal. Also, like they tell you in the manual, keep the rim clean, because otherwise it gets stuck closed sometimes. That can be bad with the medicinal herbs, not so much with the coffee though. So the moral of the story is children, buy one of these to keep volatile plant terpenes, flavonoids, what have you, from evaporating and treat it nice. I still think these things are overpriced for what they are, but they work.

It might be a little bigger than I would have liked, but it seems to work well. My pound of coffee stayed a little fresher compared to keeping it in the bag.

Absolutely excellent product for coffee beans or ground. Thinking of buying additional for other uses, such as organic sugar, flour. Highly recommend.

De las mejores opciones para mantener el café en grano fresco, lo protege de la luz uv, de la oxidación y ademas tiene una válvula que permite la salida del co2 que va soltando el café recién tostado, el sello funciona muy bien. Ojo: este tipo de frasco funciona muy bien para Café en grano, para Café molido no tiene tanto caso.

Every morning I open my coffeevac container and I hear the "pffffff" I know something good is about to happen. Coffee stays fresh and tasty. It's the best coffee container at this price.
