Solid speaker that does the job.
This is a robust speaker being used on a desktop but also came with solid mounting bracket. Works very well on a Uniden receiver and has a good length speaker lead. Very pleased with the quality of it and happy with the price.

This is my fourth purchase it works very well for my scanners The audio is much better than built in speaker Easy to mount with included mounting bracket Its priced fairly

Good tone, compared to similar icom external speaker. Might take a good twist of volume to get some sound out of it, but it's crisp and accurate. I have louder external speakers but those sound terrible up loud. Handheld units might not have the output to drive it like headphones. Works well on gmrs and amateur radio mobile transmitters. I have bad hearing, most mobile unit speakers are muffled. Effective solution at a fair price. It doesn't feel heavy duty but it sounds better than it might appear. I've bought several different styles of these looking for a better one. This is the best sounding one under $20. Again, a headphone jack might not drive this loudly, it is an external speaker.

Perfect addition to my cb
I always thought that using a cb with the back speaker sounded pretty bad. This little speaker is quite loud for it’s size and easy enough to install in the direction you want it to be. No more missed calls!
