Great replacement for mossberg 500 pattern guns. Bought a clapped out one for 50 bucks missing parts and this got her choochin again!

Make sure to pull the fore-end (rack) backward before removing the tamper-resistant screw to prevent part falling into the action, the ball bearing is also sitting a spring be careful. Pro tip: add a little blue loctite on the provided allen bolt.

This option does not come with a spare detention spring and ball. So when you remove the factory safety selector prior to installing the new one, be careful to retain the ball. It's much smaller than a BB and thank God I have wood floors not shag carpet, or I would have never found that little sucker. All hood though. Love the look and works great. Big improvement over factory safety selector. Recommend.
