Exactly as expected, really good, therapeutic way to relieve pain.
I was a little desperate after my ancient Lloyds Pharmacy TENS unit cable broke, I was using it for pain relief after my knee replacement. I had to find a replacement quickly, since the cables and pads have a unique design and connector, and no replacement cables or pads are even made any more…it’s that old!. I did my research and overthought and agonized over my choices, as usual, and settled on this one. I chose this because of the features; number of modes, intensity settings, number of zones I can use at one time, type of connection from the cord to the pad, ease of replacement of pads when they wear out, recharge-ability, size, price, and reviews. I always look at. Negative reviews first, and many of those seem be from users who weren’t really familiar with how this works, one complaining that it didn’t come with a belt clip (none was advertised), and 1 or 2 said that the unit was defective (there is a 24 month warranty) It arrived quickly, was fully charged, in a very convenient carrying case, and included everything needed to use immediately. I was impressed by the number of pads included (12) and the VERY thoughtful “landing pad” to stick the pads to for reuse after you’re done with treatment - THAT is brilliant!. You can select which setting to use; TENS, EMS, or RELAX. I don’t need electric muscle stimulation, or to relax (not right now anyway), pain relief is what I’m looking for, so TENS is perfect. I doubt if I’ll ever use the other settings. I can select which zone to use, A or B or BOTH. I just need one for now so I plugged one cable into zone A at the top of the unit, attached the pads and stuck one to my leg above the knee, and one just above my ankle, in line with each other. I turned on the unit and began to play with the modes and intensity settings until I found one that worked perfectly…a firm and bold tapping feeling that distracts my brain from the pain in my knee, but isn’t painful itself. It worked really well. I like the size of the unit, about the size of a smaller flip phone, with an easy to read LCD screen and simple buttons to set mode, intensity and time. The cords could be a little longer for those of us with long legs, but they work. I keep the pads attached to my leg between treatments, either leaving the cable attached, or removing them from beneath my compression stockings at night. (Yeah…dead sexy, right?). The battery claims a 40 hour life, I have no idea about that since I haven’t exhausted the battery yet. When I do, it recharges using the included charging cable and a USB plug. For such a good quality TENS unit that gives a good, strong, therapeutic result, I would expect to pay more than $36.99. TENS units have been widely and cheaply available in Europe for several decades, and when they first began to catch on in the US, they were expensive, well over $100, with a very limited selection. Now they are widely available here, the prices have come down and are on par with what I paid in the UK taking into consideration the exchange rate too. I also bought the replacement pads and they were only $8.99 for 20 pads of various sizes. The connector between the cable & pad is a very common design and replacements are widely available.

It’s easy to navigate, and the dual channels + 40 intensity levels let you customize the treatment just how you like it. What I like most: Lots of modes for different needs Dual-channel support — can work two areas at once Adjustable intensity — gentle to strong options Portable and convenient Whether for sore muscles, back pain, or after workouts, this unit works well and is worth it! 👍💪

Works so good bought a 2nd one
It is small but mighty, lots of pads to assist you with where you need it. The pads are very very sticky and remain sticky after multiple uses (feels like a brand new one every time). The case is sturdy and unit itself feels durable. Worked so good I keep one at the office, great relief on the knee

It works very well
This little guy is great and has been helping with my pain for several weeks now. I love that it has 4 pads so I can do both of my shoulders or knees or a shoulder and knee at the same time. It's got a timer that shows how much time is left which you can easily change with a press of the button. It has lots of different settings so anyone can find a setting that works for them. It is rechargeable which is awesome, no batteries to buy frequently. I use mine almost daily. The charge lasts a long time too! I am not so sure I understand the EMS how it's different from a regular tens machine but whatever it is I am getting relief. Great little device, only thing I would change is to have like a clip on it so you don't have to carry it in your hand if you need to move. Other than that a good little device and the price isn't bad either.

Great unit! Works for post-op surgery pain & muscle activation.
Great little unit! Easy to use. Definitely works to relieve my complex knee surgery pain & helping re activate my quad! Seems well made, lightweight but durable! Lots of extra pads included. I’ve used it a bunch and haven’t charged it yet. It has found a rightful place in my gym bag! I definitely will use it even after I’m out of rehab! I would have given five stars but there is no description of what each program does so you kind of have to test each one out and take note of it. Other than that, it’s a wonderful little unit. I’ve gotten so many compliments from everyone at my physical therapist office!

Helped more than I thought it would.
I cannot speak to the longevity of the product. I’ve only been using it for a few weeks now, but I’m extremely satisfied with it so far. TLDR: Well worth the purchase IMHO. This has helped me recover from various muscle pains. Depending on how well it holds up over time, I’d definitely buy it again. A bit more: I’ve been suffering from various muscle pains in my right tricep, my lower back, thighs, calves, and between my shoulder blades for a long time now. I focus on these areas with my workouts, stretching, and ensure I have a balanced diet. While the pains would become manageable, they never went away. I ended up buying a deep tissue massager a while ago to help alleviate the issues. I could get temporary pain relief, but it would come back in a few hours. Then I bought this figuring it was worth the price for just the experiment. It took some playing with the various settings, but I landed on EMS Program 10 for most of my areas of focus. Only after one 20 minute session per area I treated, and I am feeling so much better. I have more mobility again, the pain is almost completely gone, and I’ve been getting more out of my workouts than before. Some reviews state that this unit is weak. I have not found this to be the case at all. As I wrote, EMS P10 is my goto setting and I cannot go beyond 25 for an intensity setting. Most areas I can only do intensity 15-20 (Note the device goes up to 40). Different people have different biology, so that may be a factor. Also, the pads work best with intact gel and minimal hair/obstruction. These might be factors as well. I’m still using the same 4 pads I started with. I’ve reused them almost a couple dozen times now and they’re still functioning. The package came with more, but I ordered another pack of pads just to be sure I’m always set. I’m curious to see how the battery lasts. It’s been a couple weeks and it still claims full bars on the battery meter. Only time will tell here. The leads for the pads (eg the orange wires) are pretty thin. They’re the kind that can break easily with strain or light abuse, so I try to be as careful as I can. So far so good, but again… time will tell if they hold up. While there is no documentation for the three different modes or the different programs for each, it didn’t take that long to figure out. Also, I found that I really needed to play with each to get a feel for them. I don’t think any level of documentation would have helped there. The display is cheap, but it works well. Honestly I’d rather have this and keep the cost of the unit down. Once you dial in what works for you, it becomes a nonissue anyway IMO. While I find the pads comfortable, I do not leave them on for longer than ~30 minutes at a time. Some people can be sensitive to the gel or the combination of gel and electric stimulation. Start with short sessions and don’t push the intensity too high too fast. Some areas I start with an intensity of 12 and work up to 18-20 over 20 minutes.

Life saver! Lasts for days on single charge
I got this tens unit to replace an older one that used a 9v battery that wouldn't last very long with consistent use. This unit, however, lasts for DAYS on a single charge with a lot of usage!!! Some other features that I love: - No more batteries! It's rechargeable and charges quickly. - While the unit does have a configurable timer, it can also be set to constant. My old one would work for 60 minutes max then beep until I turned it off. - The EMS option definitely seems to get deeper stimulation than regular tens. Whether it's just redirectijg my brain or not, it absolutely helps with pain relief while it's running. I have a herniated disc and rely heavily on the unit during flare-ups. - The pads stick very well and can be used multiple times. Previous pads I've used started peeling off on the second use. -The unit comes with a high quality storage bag and a plastic card for storing the pads. The only con is that the pads have snaps instead of the kind that plug in kind of like an aux cable. Because I have to use them low on my back, I sometimes pull off the cable when pulling down my pants. This is not a major issue though, and the pros far outweigh the con.
