I sleep on the floor with no carpeting. As a result, I bought two of these and stack them. While the result is not luxurious, I don't wake up with sore shoulders or anything. Then i use them as an exercise / yoga mat with a towel on top. Then I lysol them. No problems. Eventually, they develop spots where the mat doesn't bounce back anymore, due to weight / pressure.
