This is small enough to put a single slit down one side. I found for an easy removal a very light brushing of olive or coconut (I’m sure others work fine, or maybe even a little liquid detergent) oil helps, also helping maintain some of the intricate details. Some hair scrunchies stolen from my daughter (and easily replaced at Family Dollar) was ample security to hold the mold in place for wax pour and setting. You’ll need to pierce a hole for the wick as well; tweezers or forceps easily guide the wick through.
