Simple and effective entry level co2 system that delivers results without breaking the bank. I've been using it for a while now in a ten gallon planted aquarium and it makes a very noticeable difference to plant health. Great product if you're looking to see what co2 supplementation can do for your tank without investing a lot in more complicated systems. The downside with this is that you have to fill it up every day but it's easy enough by just pressing the cap on the co2 can. There's also the fact that the composition of the gas in the chamber gradually changes because as the co2 diffuses into the water, oxygen and other atmospheric gasses also diffuse into the co2 chamber reducing the proportion of co2. This means that you either have to overfill the chamber slightly so that the remaining gas is displaced by the addition of more co2, or purge it daily/every other day by opening a small valve at the top of the chamber to release rhe remaining gas before you refill it. 5 stars because it's cheap and does what it claims. It's not perfect but it's good for the price point.

Easy way to boost plant health without spending a fortune, especially ideal in smaller tanks. Plant growth is noticeable after a few weeks but the benefits immediately as algae growth disappears overnight

Works as described, but probably better to invest in a proper CO2 system than this.

I’ve had this system set up for a few weeks now in a tiny 17 litre tank. At first, I was expecting that my plants would grow uncontrollably and I would be cutting them back all the time, but that hasn’t happened. What has happened is that my plants do seem to be growing a little quicker than usual,but more importantly, they are growing more healthy, no more plant melting,they’re not dying off. If you have a small planted tank I can certainly recommend it. I top it off every day or two,and so far I am still on the original canister. This is an ideal C02 starter kit before spending more money on a more complex system.
