I'm a hairstylist that can no longer use matrix color due to an allergy I've developed. I thought I would give this a try. It matched ALMOST perfectly with my matrix 5NC (NEUTRAL/ COPPER) and just to note I've got about 65% Grey and it covered beautifully. I read some reviews where people said it damaged their hair, to that ,I say, treat this as regular hair color. DO NOT apply like a shampoo, and just slap on all over your head. You only want to apply this to your new growth (Roots). IF YOU OVERLAP OVER AND OVER AGAIN , YOU WILL GET DAMAGE. ITS a chemical haircolor! So proceed as such. If you put on responsibility, you should get good results . ALSO, IF you are trying to use this product to cover Grey hair, you have to use the "Coffee Brown Color or darker , if you try covering using a lighter color, all it will so is TONE your grays to "blend " them in a little better. I really liked this hair dye shampoo. It’s very easy to apply, just like a regular shampoo, and it saves a lot of time compared to traditional dyes. The color came out rich and vibrant, especially on gray hair, and it looks very natural. It didn’t have a strong chemical smell, which I appreciate, and it left my hair feeling soft and shiny instead of dry. I recommend using gloves because it can stain your hands a bit. This should be a NO STAR Review but you cant continue your review if you dont choose stars. It did not cover my gray. No where in the advertisement does it say you have to buy Black or other VERY DARK COLORS to cover GREY. Where does it tell you...In the directions inside the box. I have light brown hair, I bought light brown. No coverage at all. Dont waste your time and money ☹️

This is a second time I purchased this product. Very convenient, especially you can use it anytime, just like you normally use your shampoo, it does not stain on your face/skin (if you accidentally made a mess, you could wash it off with soap and warm water), the color is beautiful. I have short hair so one bottle (500ml) lasted for 4 months. I would give this 5 star for quality, but I'm giving it 4 because the price has gone up significantly.
