I bought this level sensor for my 1500gal water tank so that I could track use and how well my low-flow water well kept up with my usage. So far it is working really well for me. The instructions are not amazing, but once I puzzled out the app I am very pleased. My tank is well over 50’ from my house, and after setup the WiFi connection has been nice and stable, and the ability to check the level in the tank without hiking out to the tank, climbing up to look in the access port. I had to fiddle with the calibration a bit - distances from the probe/sensor to the full fill line, to the ‘empty line’ just above the pump inlet, etc., but once done its been doing all that I hoped. ALSO - I paired this sensor with a solar panel with incorporated 10,000maH battery that had 9v output option (AMZN product marketed as a trail cam solar battery). This way I can power the sensor without long extension cords out to the tank. I would buy this sensor again.

The price and the product idea are great. Upon the initial examination the product execution looked excellent. The circuit board has a nice thick conformal coating intended to allow the product to function in humid/wet environment. The circuit board is protected by a screw on cover with a rubber gasket. All look great. After 2 months of outdoor use the product failed. The power supply works fine, the product cover or the power cord port feed-through failed to protect it from a heavy rain fall, resulting in water propagating inside the enclosure. While the amount of water was no greater than about 0.050 in, the conformal coat failed to protect the components from the resultant moisture. Even after drying the circuit board the device has been rendered unable to be seen on the wireless network.

Great product, easy installation, great app interface, accurate, prompt readings. If you set it right, install in an accurate way, you will get great and accurate results, stable connectivity, great about being 240v. This is amazing, works perfectly.

I needed a remote, hopefully wireless, method of reporting real-time water lever in a storage tank, and this does that job very well. A bit larger than I thought, although accurately shown, I mounted it on the top of the tank. One photo shows the cover removed. You set it up with Bluetooth, then the Tuya App is used to see the results over wifi, and accessible from remote locations as long as you have cell coverage. Very accurate, takes a bit to get it set property, and the Tuya instructions are pretty minimal, but once you work thru it, it is just what I needed. Four stars for the minimal instructions, otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars.

I'm using this monitor to continuously check the water level in a sump pit. In my case, the sump pump is in the center of the pit, so positioning the probe so it only hits the water is tricky, but it's doable. To be fair, the documentation clearly says that this type of use case might not work (and sometimes it does pick up the sump housing) but for the most part it does the trick. The app is pretty good (alarms are a great feature ), and the fact that the probe uses WiFi and not Bluetooth is great. I'm really happy with it.

This device is worthless you can't even set it up to message you through the app and wifi. It requires a $100 per year for unlimited messagiong. You can buy a block of messages but the device will burn through those sending repeated warnings. They do not advertise that a subscription is required otherwise you have to monitor the app to watch the levels. So unless you pay for a subscription the device is worthless. The data is not even accurate enough to be worth the subscription fee. Testing the unit the level jumps around according to the sensor even though actual level stays the same. This will lead to spamming messages from alarms coming on and off so if you buy a 200 message block and assume it should only send you 10 per year. If you have a smaller tank that is close to empty or full it will send constant messages through out the day. For what this device cost the app should at least send messages for free. For how inaccurate the data is the subscription fee is not worth it. There are other units for not much more that do not require a subscription. Don't bother wasting your money on this unit. I will be returning to Amazon for full refund like I am sure just about everyone does after they see what this unit is all about.

This was a nice addition to my water system to keep an eye on the water tank level. I've used it for about 2 months now and today it decided to stop working on the app. I opened it up to reset and it was flooded with water. There's no way for water to get into it from the outside because it is rainproof and it was never in a situation to be submerged or even have water around it. The lid was wet, the INSIDE of the cable gland was wet, but no evidence of water intrusion. The only option is condensation buildup over time. If I were to buy this again, I would make some adjustments. The button inside needs to be accessible so I would put a tube around it and fill the rest of the container with epoxy or maybe even drown it in hot glue. That way, any condensation will not cause a short in the board. The epoxy coating it comes with is nice but several points on the board are exposed conductors so it needs more protection. I believe this would solve the issue but it shouldn't be a consumer responsibility. The manufacturer needs to drown this thing in epoxy

I have not found any other device that makes it possible to monitor cistern water level over the Internet. Very easy to install and use. Bought the drill bell bit to cut exacly to size and easily installed it on top of my cistern. Cableing was a bit of a bother because there was no electricity there, but it needs very little power. Now we have the monitro on several phones and can be certain how much water is available for use in our country house and also if we can use the sprinkler system. Enormously effective.

it's good so far...turns out 40% is actually empty for us. but above 50% it's pretty damn accurate. saves me from crawling and out of the tank room

Es muy erratico, se configuró segun instrucciones y funcionó mas o menos aceptable unos dos meses, después de eso falla muchísimo, ya no es confiable, marca al 100% cuando esta a la mitad o viceversa, o esta casi lleno y marca 10%. Hice una mala compra.

O produto é muito bom e dá muito bem para monitorar o reabastecimento do reservatório. A única dificuldade que estou tendo é na leitura com relação o percentual da coluna de água e a altura da coluna de água. O que acontece, a coluna de água atinge 100% e a altura da coluna de água continua aumentando. Estou ajustando as alturas para ver se consigo equalizar esses índices
