Locate the allen screw on the pressure switch located on the front of the pump, use an allen key to turn it clockwise to increase pressure or counterclockwise to decrease pressure.

could this pump, pump water up 6 feet

Yes, this pump will both pull and push water up 6 feet.

Why will my pump make noise but not pump water. It has been dry for 5 days of travel. Now we are parked and it’s not working.

2 possible problems come to mind. The pump is self priming, as long as there is water in the tank getting to the pump it should work. There is a possibility that it was installed the wrong way, there is an intake opening and an output opening. Check that, it could be the problem. The pump could also be defective if there is water getting to it and it is installed correctly but still not working...
