Plug and play **Q: cant conect the app** A: The instructions received with this product are very vague. When you try to connect the camera to your phone make sure that you have activated the WIFI from the settings menu on the Dash Cam and that the WIFI symbol is showing as being activated on the Dash Cam screen. You should then go to your Phone Settings, go to WIFI and search networks if your phone doesn't do it automatically, look for the Dash Cam network identifier on list of networks and pair to your phone using the password given in the instructions leaflet. Then open the Lucky Cam App on your phone and it should connect and open. **Q: How do you save/lock a clip if you encounter an incident?** A: If the crush is strong enough then the G-sensor will detect it and lock the clip automatically. If you are in a steady drive and you want to lock the shooting clip， you can press menu button to lock this clip. This is a cheap cam so it’s probably to be expected.My biggest gripe is that nowhere in the instructions does it tell you the name of the app. It is not Lucky Star, as I could not find this anywhere in the apple App Store. Through trial and error I found the Lerccenker app worked.Similarly there is no evidence of a customer care contact in the instructions. Once I had found a contact email address buried on the internet, it took over a week to reply.The instructions themselves are pretty poor also, but again with trial and error you can work the menu and buttons.As for the cam itself:- once mounted (like most people I put mine behind the rear view mirror) it becomes very fiddly to operate. However after the novelty has worn off you don’t need to do this often. A flip down screen and buttons would be better.- my preference would be if they had supplied a long usb cable to connect to the car, rather than one that goes to the cigarette lighter socket. In time I’ll source this myself.- the Lerccenker app ( the only one I found that worked with this cam) is ok, easy enough to use but not special.- image quality seems ok in main, noting the comment above.You do get what you pay for.
