I love that this does not require batteries and can be recharged. It has a varying level of light it can display. Portable, lightweight and perfect for checking in on kids at night.

Most definitely bright enough for general use. I do kind of wish it got a little dimmer than it does on the lowest setting, but that's just my own nitpicking. The minimum setting is not harsh by any means, but it's a comfortable step above a soft glow, in my opinion. This isn't a bad thing; it's merely an observation. I gave it a full charge and had it switched on through the night (about 10 hours) on the lowest setting. It's still running strong (again, on the lowest brightness setting) well into night 2 and still on the original full charge. Charging is done via USB-A to micro-USB. The actual input on the lantern is micro-USB. There is a charging indicator light. A short charging cable is provided (which is nice); however, a wall plug is not included. The build quality is plastic in every way possible, but that means it's light. The adjustable handle holds the lantern sturdy in the various advertised configurations. Update: Starting to have issues on day 3 of ownership. Charged it up but the lantern lasts less than hour. Charged it up again until I got the green light but was met with the same result. Oh well, it happens. Maybe I'll have better luck next time.

Just what I needed for camping out in my tent!

We've had a hard time finding a camping lantern that you could set on a picnic table that was bright enough but didn't blind us with the glare. These work great. The fact that they are infinitely dimmable means you can adjust the light to the task at hand - from washing dishes to a romantic glass of wine when the dishes are done.

I bought the light to sit on our outdoor table at night to supplement my festival bulbs during dinner and it’s great. We also use it for power outages. My toddler loves it and can easily operate it so we bought a few more for the house. I love that they charge so quickly and easily! They don’t light up an entire room and they’re not bright enough for reading, but we are really happy with them.

It basically has to live on the charger. I couldn't get even two hours out of it.

I bought these for soft lighting for my puppies pen. It's perfect overnight and I can watch them easier as newborns. I love the fact they are rechargeable and they do last a very long time as stated on the product. Also enjoy the ability to turn the light up brighter if needed.
