My plants looked decent with just their standard nutrients, but after switching many of them to semi-hydro and watching them grow ever so slowly, I looked to find what they might be missing. Using filtered water, they were not getting enough calcium. I ordered this bottle and was pleased when it arrived. It’s a nice strong bottle and was sealed very well (I tend to drop things while rushing around) and it’s a good size and will last me a very long time. Using 1 teaspoon per gallon, this will make 192 gallons! It is a very cost effective way to add these missing nutrients into your plants water. All of my plants, in soil and in LECA, are thriving after the addition of this product and they are pushing out new, deep green healthy leaves. It took me a couple weeks to see a noticeable difference, but it’s there and I will always include this in my nutrient mix. I occasionally foliar-feed my plants and I love that this doesn’t clog my pump sprayer! As a side note, it is very important that you mix your nutrients in the correct order, because of the chemistry between water molecules and minerals. If you use Silica, add that first, but Cal-Mag must come BEFORE your basic nutrient supplement is added, or none of the nutrients will be accessible to your plants! Purchasing this Cal Mag will not help a bit if it’s mixed incorrectly. Best of luck to you all!
