See more Review: Stylish and comfortable. - Great pair of sneakers I love to wear. Review: Completely different than earlier triumphs, but still good - The Saucony triumph line is a great running shoe, I've used triumphs exclusively through college cross-country as my weekly training shoe. They are perfect for the efficient/ neutral runner looking to put in high miles. I've put up to around 20 miles on these at a time with very little impact to my feet and knees. As others have said, the previous models of triumphs were really the best. The newer models are still good, but are really a very different shoe. The triumph 4's were a spectacularly flexible & cushioned neutral shoe. These & newer models seem to be getting stiffer and heavier with alot more heel/ ankle support, catering more towards people who don't have very good posture. Alot of newer running shoes tend to be that way as well I think, running shoes shouldn't make up for bad running posture/habits. The main reason why I'm still using these at this point is because they fit well for me, wide sizes have a roomy toe-box and a snug-fitting heel. I usually tend to buy older versions of these shoes if I can find them because they are usually alot less expensive.

Favorite Shoe
I went to a specialty running store and did some various tests to find the perfect shoe. I have somewhat wide feet so it is challenging finding a good shoe that fits right. I ended up trying the ProGrid Ride 2 wide version and it was like walking on a cloud. This one was an excellent find for such a high quality shoe. It is very comfortable and fits like a glove. This shoe was great for both walking and running as well as cross training activities at the gym. The quality is very high and comes from a trusted brand. I have had several pairs of this shoe until I was no longer able to track them down. I only had one issue with one of the pairs because part of the sole came unglued. I contacted Saucony and they gladly exchanged the shoe for a brand new pair. Overall, this is an awesome shoe that I would highly recommend.

Good quality, but sized incorrectly.
Looking for a unisex sneaker that could fit my arch support orthotics, and the width of these was perfect, but the size difference between half a size was DRASTIC. Not sure if it’s the manufacturing or the pair I got, but they were NOT half a size larger—more like two full sizes. Had to return, although I loved the look and the feel of the insole material.

Stellar Running Shoe
My 1st Progrid shoe was fitted by a running store I thought they were my favorite ever. That was until I got the updated version here. This one had the arch support and was the stability shoe I needed. I have used so many other types of shoes and these ones are my favorite. High-end Asics are usually a close second, but they cost a ton more. I think these are the best value for a solid stability running shoe. I go between a 9-9.5 (closer to a 9) and these fit perfect. Their comfortable on the track and the trail. They also breathe well and lace up comfortably. The wore out in about 1 year of running 4-5 times a week and unfortunately were unusable as they tore through the mesh. They were incredible while they lasted and I tried getting them again, but I settled for the Progrid 5 which was even better. If you need a stability shoe, get a progrid. You won't be disappointed. Here is the next better version I purchased when these wore out: Saucony Men's Progrid Guide 5 Running Shoe
