Two-In-One Car Scratch Repair Pen - Quick and Easy Touch Up Paint for Various Cars (Black)

When I saw a few tiny scratches on the driver's side door, which were most likely caused by brushing up against trees in my driveway, I made the decision to give this Touch Up Paint pen a try before I had to resort to bringing it to a body shop. Although it did a fair job of concealing the scratches, it did not provide the flawless solution that I had hoped for. When I had finished making sure that the vehicle was clean and dry, I checked the color in a discrete location beneath the door to make sure that it was the same as the paint that was used by the manufacturer. I gave the pen a good shake and then started applying it to the scratches using the brush applicator that was supplied in the package. The color seemed to be accurate. In accordance with the instructions, I painted over the scratches using equal and thin layers, giving about five minutes of drying time between each application. In addition to having a smooth application, the paint dries quite rapidly to a semi-gloss finish that mixes in with the paint that is already there. In comparison to the unattractive scrapes, it seemed to be a significant improvement. Nevertheless, if you look very closely, you can still see the scratches that are hidden behind the paint. It conceals them to such an extent that they are not immediately evident from a distance, but when seen from a closer vantage point, the uneven texture is still somewhat noticeable.

The product does the job well.

It's simple application – just give it a good shake before applying. It effectively conceals scratches, as demonstrated in the attached before-and-after photos of the area I treated. I opted for the red color, which nearly perfectly matches my car's shade. It offers great value for its price, providing a quick and affordable cover-up solution. However, it's important to note that it's not a substitute for professional body shop work, so manage expectations accordingly in terms of cost and quality.

I ordered these pens because I had trouble getting an opaque and detailed look using the standard acrylic paints I use to make earrings. When I received the package, these pens were in brand new condition (still had plastic around the box) and looked exactly as described and pictured. They are very easy to use, produce vibrant and opaque color, and definitely met/exceeded my expectations! I would definitely recommend these pens to anyone looking for an alternative to acrylics or paints that are easier to control for very detailed arts and crafts! Recommended recommended.

The color was perfect. It has a light brushed gold look to it. It is lighter than the car picture but somewhat accurate for some of the other pics. Even the picture of the color on the bottle didn’t quite get the color match. It’s like fools gold color. Just a light gold with a sparkle. It is nice to paint with however I was severely disappointed with the quantity. I had other touch up pen kits the same size container I was using for this project and the other colors went 5x further than this one did. The consistency matched and container matched so I can only assume they just didn’t fill the paint up very high which is kinda what it felt like too. I noticed after a few dips that I was struggling to dip the brush and get anything on it. Also the toggle between pen and brush was not great. The cap is supposed to lock the pen in when using the brush but it didn’t hold so I had to get my hands dirty and hold the pen tip to use the brush. It was fine but just not to the same quality as the other brands I was using. But at the same time the price was good for this color as most were double the price for a gold color

Paint dried bubbly and rough. Chips off with friction after days of drying. Unless you’re fixing a tiny chip, do not buy this it will work poorly.
