One thing I will say, due to the strength of the springs, you definitely want your drawers to be on the farther end of the maximum length these can expand to. I can really see how, if you have cheap particle board drawers, it might start to warp or dislodge the backing. When I tried compressing it completely to what I assume would be its smallest size, there was significant resistance and I couldn't really bring the end closer than about 1.5-2" from the solid part of the divider. I’ve always been a little ocd with my closet but keeping everything nicely folded can become tedious, especially in larger drawers.
