Well designed glove at a reasonable price
I do a lot of winter walking in the fells, so took the opportunity to review this new offering on the Amazon Vine programme. Despite the French name, Trendoux appears to be a small Chinese brand based in Shenzhen. With their 7-layer construction they feel like they'll be warm and weatherproof: - The main insulation material is Thinsulate which is one of the better options. - They are very wind resistant. - The cuffs provide a good seal. - I've tested them in the shower and they shed water well. Comfort is good and the lining is pleasant against the skin. The lining is attached to the layers above, which means that it's relatively easy to get the gloves on and off with wet hands. This is an important safety factor - I once had a pair with free-floating liners that proved impossible to take off and on in the wet - something I discovered in an Alpine blizzard... The non-slip pattern on the palm is effective and looks as if it will last. Of course the cost of this multi-layered warmth is a relatively thick and clumsy glove. They have a stretch panel over the knuckles which helps, and they are no worse than any other glove in this class. But it does mean that using the gloves with your phone is marginal. The tips of the fingers are heavily padded which is good for warmth, but using my navigation app is a bit hit and miss. A mainstream brand will be charging close to double for a glove in this warmth class. If they disappoint in the snow and ice I'll be back to update my review, but for now this is looking like a good buy at the price.

Really Good Quality Gloves - Not As Warm As Advertised
These gloves are really good quality and very well made. I am not sure what the advertised self adjustable wrist strap is, as the pair that I received do not have a wrist strap - but there is an elasticated area that keeps them snug. I am a size 7 in latex gloves and have quite large hands for a female - the medium size gloves were the perfect fit but wouldn't have fit if they were any smaller. I was very disappointed with their performance in relation to retaining heat and keeping my hands warm. I tried them out for driving in addition to general wear- as I have Raynaud's Syndrome and have attacks at this time of year, especially when driving the 45 mins commute home. The gloves have such a good rubberised palm that they are perfect for gripping on the steering wheel... however they did not have the desired effect and you can see from the photo how cold my hands became and one of my fingers went white. (my fingers were red with cold not heat) The outside temperature was 8 degrees and I had my climate control set to 17 degrees - I don't think that they would keep your hands really warm in the snow or biting wind. They did work on my iPhone screen and surprisingly well considering how bulky they are with the layers of materials. In comparison with other gloves on the market, these are definitely a good choice - I have yet to find a pair of gloves that prevent a Raynaud's attack in really cold weather, but for anyone without this condition they are great option.

Inaccurate description
These gloves were not as described by this seller. I did complain, but there was no answer. The description promised warm hands even when the temperature was as low as -20ยฐC. But these gloves were useless at -5ยฐC. False promises, poor performance, inaccurate description. With so much going on, I didn't remember to follow up and now the robot customer service keeps insisting I can no longer return them, which is in defiance of the Consumer Protection Act. No point in sending a photo of the gloves since you can't see thermal inefficiency in a photo.
