Update: July 2025: He still wears these! Case lids finally broke down a bit but still generally workable. The glasses are still in good shape and get heavier use these days. Thinking about buying again just because it would be nice to have pairs in even more locations, like the car so they are available when we’re away from home and he’s forgotten to bring them or just didn’t think they would be needed, such as we spontaneously arrive at a restaurant where he may have to use his phone’s camera or magnifying features to see the menu. Update Feb. 2022: as the spouse of the user, I’m happy to report that having 2 pairs of these is very helpful. He has a pair in his office and in the living room (2 different floors in the house) and he’s always pulling them out to use. The cases are nice and he puts the glasses in the cases every time he uses them…it’s just how he is about taking good care of his things. I never hear complaints about the fit, though he doesn’t wear them for long periods of time either. Original: The adult wearer in the house says these are lightweight and reasonably comfortable, but they are actually a bit too small for his head. He rated them a 4 on sturdiness without comment as to why. They do help him with reading things that have been really difficult before (for months) and I’m glad to hear less aggravated sighs and no more requests for me to read things for him, as long as a pair is readily available anyway. 😉

Updated: I have ordered my second set after 1 year. My initial set was great, but I lost one, likely while out to eat, and the other was recently misplaced. These fit nicely and the lenses are large enough lenses to make reading off center easy. Inexpensive enough so when I lose them it's not a huge investment. I have had no issues with build quality which was great! Innovative case is cool. Protects glasses nicely. Personally I need glasses with a wider frame and longer temple and these work fine on the width. Better than the frames I get at the drug store.

Excellent product

I am constantly losing my reading glasses or breaking them. I have bought at least 10 pairs this year alone, so I was hesitant about buying two more, especially when you can get them at the dollar store for a dollar. However, after purchasing these glasses and seeing how they stand up to constant use, I will never buy from another store again. The glasses are very stiry and well made, and the black and brown colors are fashionable. Lenses are actually lenses and not cheap plastic. But the best thing about them, is they come with 2 hard cases which are very slim and able to be put into any pocket without major bulk, especially jeans. That alone is worth double the price. These are the only glasses I use now and I'm going to be purchasing even more pairs so I can have one in every vehicle, purse, coat, desktop, and work location.

I like the glasses. Had a bit of a challenge getting them as they were delivered to my neighbors by mistake. After I looked like a package thief and retrieved them from my neighbor's porch. They had been there since last night. Once I finally was able to unpack them, I like the case and the glasses. They look very nice. the cases are nice, but the glasses do not fit well. In fact, i can see them damaging the lenses if I tried to get them back in the case. So, they are two pairs of glasses with two cases that you probably shouldn't use? Other than that they appear really nice, maybe I can use the cases for some other reading glasses?

Scratched immediately due to very tight fitting plastic case. MAKE SURE YOU PUT GLASSES IN THE CASE WITH LENSES FACING UP AND SLIGHTLY TILTED DOWNWARD! UPDATE: As other reviewers have said the glasses themselves are very nice however, the case is extremely tight. You have to be extremely careful to note the orientation of the glasses as you slide them in and out of the case if you do this wrong or slide it in an incorrect angle, your glasses will scratch. I am raising my rating from one star to three and this would be a five star if the case was slightly bigger, and you didn’t have to be incredibly precise to ensure the glasses will not scratch. Update #2: Raised rating to 5 stars as the scratching I first reported was due to user error in inserting the glasses upside down in the case. The case does work but it is a tight fit and you do need to be cautious when inserting.
