works great on my husbands Casio keyboard. No feedback in the background, no hissing. It works perfect and he just plugs his headphones into this jack. Sound is clear and he has no issues. Definitely worth the purchase and a great value over all the other ones I've seen online. Will purchase again from this seller.

I had too much hiss and background noise in the videos taken with my Canon Rebel T5i even when using an external microphone (Takstar SGC-598) and it turned out the problem is the camera's microphone preamps. This problem was solved by turning the camera's built-in volume control almost all the way down and then compensating for the lost volume level with an external battery-powered preamp (Saramonic SmartRig II) but it required this adapter to convert the 1/8" male microphone plug to the 1/4" input on the preamp. To make it all work I also needed a TRRS to TRS converter on the output side of the preamp. Bottom line is that now the recordings from the camera are good enough that I can skip the step of recording audio on a separate device and then syncing the sound recording to the video and re-encoding them before uploading the movie.

This is the most amazing coupler ever! The outside is plastic and the inside is actually made out of metal. When you plug two speaker wires into it, one to each side, they slide right in, and fit tightly and like magic, the sound flows from one wire to the other. The best part is, there was no leakage, no annoying puddle of sound on the floor to wipe up when I get done rockin’ the HOUSE!

Fits perfectly into my focusrite interface so I can record with little to no delay, the only thing that I can say I didn’t quite enjoy about this product is that it seems to not play sound through my headphones when it’s not twisted a certain way but then again the problem could just be my headphones but I highly recommend this adapter for the most part.

I gave it 5 stars because I know it is quality and works perfectly but I bought the wrong one and Amazon and the company was great, I got the refund and then bought exactly the adapter i needed, so it all worked out, very quality product!

This thing literally broke into pieces when I was re-arranging my pedal board. I got this thing 3 days ago. THREE DAYS. That is PATHETIC for a adapter like this. Another reviewer posted a picture of the SAME EXACT thing on here, so that alone tells you that this plug is garbage. This worked great but the build quality is awful, and I mean GOD AWFUL. If my replacement does the same thing I'm just going with another plug. You guys should be ASHAMEd selling this thing to people!

purchased this to be able to use my headphones with an audio interface. The sound is great and there is no compromise in sound quality or connection! I recommend to anyone who does not want to purchase a whole new headset or chord.

I got a used open box and it has GUM inside of it, so disgusting and now i have to go through the whole return process. Actually gross. I got it out but im still returning because wtfff
