The bottles were wet, I assume they were leaking.

You need gloves and safety equipment before using. They are not included.
I haven't used it, but all the parts are present and the instructions are easy to follow.

Nice kit but unreliable diamond tester
The diamond tester have false positive results for mossanite and other fake diamonds and then false negative on a GIA certificated diamond so unfortunately I will have to return it. It’s a shame as the stone, acids and loupe seemed good quality and it’s on the whole good value for money but I need to be able to tell a fake diamond!
