Blew up and caught fire
Off grid remote installation. Perhaps 3000 W of load. I heard a series of what sounded like loud popcorn in my electrical shed. I was using my 800 watt saw which stopped working simultaneously, and I went to check out the noise. By the I got there ( 15 seconds or so ) the noise had stopped, but there was fire shooting out of the unit maybe 8 inches, scorching the wires and the charge controller that was mounted above (unclear if other than wires were damaged on controller). The unit worked flawlessly before that for two months. I won’t buy another of this brand. “ once bitten twice shy”.

At least it quit inside the return window. Waste of time and money!
