I got this lamp to help with toy photography, to give a sense of atmosphere, and it works well for that purpose. It's very easy to set up and use, and the light shines brightly. The app connected and worked flawlessly as soon as I downloaded and fired it up. It responds instantly to changes in color, brightness, and temperature. It also has a number of unexpected features in addition to color changing, such as a pulsing "candlelight" effect.Surprisingly, the app even has a responsive mode that alters the lamp's color to match or complement what your phone camera sees. For example, if you point it at a blue bag and capture that, the light will turn blue. Additionally, there's a cinema mode to turn it into a responsive TV backlight if so desired by aiming your phone camera at the screen. You can also play music on your phone and have the color change in response to the song. All of these features work really well, although I'm not sure how much the phone battery would drain over extended use, so you may want to have the device plugged in if you're watching a movie or binging a show or something.Be aware that there is a ring at the edge of the circular light, which makes sense as it's a "sunset" lamp. Nevertheless, you can of course play around with the setup if you don't want the edge to show up in a photo.Overall, this is actually a really nifty gadget for the money! Better than expected!

love it!!! it can get bigger or smaller depending on where it’s placed and love the option where i can cross fade all the colors. app is a little tricky but you kind of get the hang of it. love it though, need like 10 more for every place in the house lol

Originally had a Mercury brand light and the thing sucked. If you’re looking to have something that you can manipulate into the color you want, this is a much more suitable product that the others I’ve seen. Color is vibrant, though I don’t like how you can see other colors on the perimeter. The app-enabled remote works great, it’s built solid, it’s easy to put together, and it’s as bright as you’ll need which you can also manipulate.

This sunset lamp was delivered with care and very easy to assemble and operate. It shines very bright and beautiful. I love it and I can’t wait to put it up in my dorm!

I’ve had this product for several months now and it still works so well! I have it connected to my phone so I can adjust the brightness and color. Definitely a good edition to any room, would absolutely recommend!
