Works well on my Ender 5 S-1
The Extruder Kit worked well for my Ender 5 S-1. It arrived in perfect shape and installed easily with the help of some U-Tube videos. I did need to adjust the tension of the extruder (another U-Tube video) that I thought would have been adjusted during the manufacturing process. It works well, although I've found I need to fenagle the filament a little now to get it through the extruder to the hot end. This is the first time I've replaced the extruder so maybe this is to be expected.

Fixed my Ender 3 V3 KE
Fixed my Ender 3 V3 KE. All of a sudden my Ender 3 V3 KE started clicking and would not extrude filament. Open the extruder to find metal shavings (the gears had grinded) and that the stepper motor wouldn't turn. Removed the extruder and was able to turn the motor so, I knew the motor was good but needed an new sprite extruder. This immediately fixed my problem. PROS -Fits the Ender 3 KE V3 CONS -it comes unassembled, not sure why -putting the spring in is kind of a pain because the spring has a lot of tension At the time of this review it costs about $18. Well worth the money especially considering I spent about 1 hour troubleshooting with Creality Support and got nowhere, just a ticket # and it's been 5 days and they have not got back to me. This printer was under warranty, but past the Amazon return window. In hindsight I should have not even bothered putting in a support ticket and just bought this replacement extruder

Inexpensive, solid
After having trouble with clogging I felt like the gearbox had taken enough abuse and thought it would be good to just replace it. For the price it was a no-brainer. It has performed well thus far.

Easier than I expected
After reading the other reviews, I wasn't looking forward to having to assemble the part. So I mentally prepared myself and...mine arrived assembled. Maybe they changed after dealing with customer complaints. Who knows. I removed the old extruder that had stopped working and replaced it with this one. It took a few minutes, and I was back to printing. For the price I should get a couple more to keep on hand, although the first one lasted nearly a year.

OEM for my Ender 3 V3 KE extruder. It's always a good idea to have a replacement when your existing extruder fails.
