This is a great way for me to have the benefits from beef liver without my family acting persecuted about having it for dinner. It's too soon to know for sure, but I'm hoping this will help in healthy blood production. So far, no side effects or odor development personally.

I wasn't expecting these to be so digestible. I've taken so many different types, and so many different brands, and so many different forms of Ferrous Sulfate that I held little hope of being able to tolerate it. But as a last resort, my doctor specifically suggested these grass-fed beef liver capsules and said, 'If these don't work nothing will!' I swear by these since I am extremely anemic, and can really tell the difference after taking them for 2 months.

Please note this product is “non-defatted” and if you look that up, it means the vitamin A levels are high, and vitamin A is fat soluble so it will build up in your body. As some other reviewers note, there are no details available as to how much of what is in there. Another odd thing is that I literally never get headaches, but it seems like these give me a mild but persistent headache. I have been taking one per day in case it’s too much vitamin A for me (I also take a multi) or too much iron, or anything else. I started this for the copper because I thought I might be taking too much zinc via other supplements, and an imbalance is not good. But since I don’t know how much is in here, it’s a big question mark.
