Very sturdy. I am confident this will hold my 4 inch refractor in place without leaving any marks. Worth the $$$.

This is a nice piece of kit for smaller telescope mounts. I used it in my iexos100 mount from Explore Scientific to replace the factory saddle. Fits perfectly and provides a smooth reliable clamp. Great finish and tooling. A terrific buy.

Solid mount and leaves no marks

Very nice but it just wont work for my setup. Almost kept it to use as a self defense projectile, this thing is lethal lolll.

I bought it to use on a equatorial mount on a celestron telescope. It fits perfectly. Sturdy and will not let your telescope loose.

This is built well and I am using it with my Nikon 600mm lens. It's one solid piece of metal and the lens is held perfectly

This saddle is a lot beefier than it looks in the pictures. Much more so than I expected it would be. This is a good thing. The saddle is well machined. It feels like a quality piece of equipment. The fit and finish are great. I love the two large clamp down knobs. Shouldn't have any problem locking these down tight even with gloves on, and whatever you mount on it isn't going anywhere. The two slots and the screw hole spacing provide plenty of mounting options. I'm really impressed with this saddle. I plan on using it for the DIY "cube" type telescope mount that I'm working on. I may have to get another one of these to enable a dual scope setup. Two thumbs up for this one. Great product.

I guess I'm glad this is well made, but it's on the heavy side for an astro mount where weight really matters. I was able to mount with 5 screws to my vixen bar. That and the double pressure knobs are very reasssuring though. I've got no worries about this failing.
