It actually WORKS!
I was sceptical about the likely success of this having tried a range of other approaches (e.g Sonics, chilli, pepper, scarecrows). Although I thought it costly, I was pleasantly surprised to see that within 3 weeks of watering this in, the degree of destruction by Badgers had all but disappeared. The main culprits are a decreasing number of squirrels/foxes making much smaller 'nose sized' holes. These are easily pushed/stamped back into place. The lawn is slowly picking up and I have reseeded it. So now I'm just battling with the birds who think the seeds are their treats! I highly recommend Nemesys, as it actually WORKS. See before/after pictures just 3 weeks later. There was enough for my 100sqm garden. I'm delighted and will repeat at the end of the year. Worth the money.

Yep, it worked!
Follow the instructions as advised by other reviewers and this works. After years of nearly every neighbour fighting these grubs (and suffering really sever lawn damage by feeding crows that fly in like an RAF squadron) and for some reason we escaped, we fell victim this year so took to the Internet, found this product and followed the advice and instructions. Applied it about 3 weeks ago and watered daily for a couple of weeks and kept affected area covered except for watering or when raining. This morning, raked over the affected area for re-seeding and unearthed dozens and dozens and dozens of the little devils...all bar none were dead. Will be rebuying next spring to apply after scarifing.

Very effective in removal of chafer grub from my Suffolk garden.
I had a massive issue with birds digging over the lawn. A quick internet search suggested the chafer grub as a culprit. I dug out a few and this confirmed the infestation. Nemasys' chafer grub killer is a life product and needs cool storage. I used it after just a few days well before the expiry date in late March and the chafer grubs appear to have disappeared. I started reseeding after about 6 weeks of application and the lawn in this patch looks healthy. I followed the instructions and concentrated at the marginal areas of the affected patch. One thing to note is that I found it hard to disperse the product effectively with my plastic watering can as the water holes got blocked off too easily. It remains to be seen if the grubs stay away but I am happy to retreat at the first signs of further infestation. Given that there is very little alternative for this nuisance I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Keep this pack cool
I ordered this package based upon it targets the problem, chafer grubs, it was available within a reasonable period of a weather window and, positive reviews. The package is a small cardboard sleeve with external instructions and a sealed plastic tray with a peelable clear film seal. The contents are a very fine, sandy-coloured powder-like substance which may have settled when stored. An important part of preparation is having the wide-holed rose, watering-can of 5 litre (minimum) capacity. A 0.5 litre measuring jug,or similar also helps with the standard dosing. When preparing to treat a lawn, ensure that the turf is either secure (unharmed by the pest) or loose and rake the surface to remove the loose turf; which may also expose the grubs. This is helpful as the grubs eat the roots and loose the bond that binds good turf to the subsoil by eating the deep roots. Application on wet, damp or during rainfall means the product gains mobility to reach the target grubs. As it takes 2 weeks to ascertain minimum effectiveness, I will also lookout for further turf damage by feeding crows/magpies/avian predators to see if they can detect sub-surface grub movement.

Does at least seem to reduce the Chaffer grubs
I liked that the Chaffer grubs could be sprayed on the lawn using a lawn feeder although I have now used two orders and you learn from each. First was don't use it in cold weather - there were late frosts so I think that marginalised the effect. The second I hadn't noticed that the lawn feeder seem to only draw a small amount of the Nematodes with the spray and after spraying the lawn - possibly 150 sq yards several times the cannister was still thick with Nematodes - that I saw as I emptied the pot on a small area of turf after about 15 minutes of watering.. I'll turn it upside down in future which gives a richer feed.

Did not work
followed instructions to the letter. However, did not work. Little critters are still in my soil and the corvids are still ripping it all up.

Easiest solution for an under lawn problem. ๐๐ป
Had several bald patches on our lawn, a couple of years ago. This stuff dealt with the problem, effortlessly. Now, when I start noticing the adult beetles in our garden, I know it's time for a couple of doses of this. Does the job. Easy to use; just add water. Covers a larger lawn than we have (we've got plenty enough for a second pass. I just use it at a higher concentration.

A waste of time and money doesn't work.
Doesn't mix very well and definitely doesn't kill the chaffer grubs I bought 3 ,packets of this product followed the instructions and treated the lawn 3 times and the grubs were still there happily eating the roots while the birds torn the lawn up to eat them. A real waste of money ,time and effort. Won't be using this product again.
