Product seamed to work fine, but could not understand why no one was using, what was a habitual spot (birdbath) they drink from year round. After a week, i went to check on the item since NOBODY was drinking from it any more. When i put my hand in the water, and touched the item, I was literally shocked. This explans why nobody was using !! I double checked, and yes, was shocked again, and discovered there was an electrical currrent even on the top level of water. This should never happen!! At first it sort of worked, enough to keep the water directly above it in a liquid state. After a couple days of temps under 20 degrees in January it stopped working completely.
