These lures are my favorites
I have been slowly testing new lures and softbaits for the last 12 years on the same lake in the BWCA looking for the elusive 80lb musky. While you can never go wrong with a mepps gold blade brown tail spinner, a decent spoon, or your favorite rapala, after my first cast this became my favorite. Had a 20lb beast follow it in, let it drop once I noticed him and he took the bait.Cast for cast this combination of spoon action and minnow appearance is winning. I love it and will never take another trip without a few in the tackle box!
