for about a week and am happy to report that I feel more energetic
After a visit to my gynecologist I discovered there's been a decrease in my iron level, which is typical with perimenopausal patients. I have also felt fatigued and noticed my periods are heavier. My gynecologist suggested I take iron pills. I felt skeptical, but decided to give NOW a try. I've been taking NOW Iron pills 18mg once a day, for about a week and am happy to report that I feel more energetic. The pills are small and easy to swallow and there's no yucky after taste. I have not experienced any side effects, which is a comfort because I would hate to have to take something that bothers my digestive system. I may purchase a higher dosage in the future, but so far I have no complaints.
