We couldn't be happier with this filter's performance. It's part of our 2500gal duck pond system, one of 2 waterfalls. We ended up getting plastic scrubbies at the Dollar Store in lieu of bio balls, very easy to change out to clean. We live way above the snow line where it doesn't get ridiculously frigid cold but the snow is very heavy. No problems and the ducks/geese don't care.

I absolutely love this Bio filter. There are lots of great reviews already so I won't point out the obvious. It's super easy to clean!!!! I had bio balls already so I didn't care that they weren't included. Super easy to set up and clean. GREAT waterfall sound and water movement. Excellent price and fast shipping. I'm worried about running this one through the winter as it is thin walled plastic and it doesn't recommend that you do if you have hard feeezes.

This filter/waterfall works very well. The price is good and it looks great. I am glad I purchased it.

Bought this to replace a waterfall that was leaking. Was a little worried about this one just didn't seem to have a big enough spillway. But puts out decent water with a 2600 gpm pump. Did have an issue with a leak at the fitting located at the bottom of the tank but after tightening it and making sure the o-ring was clean hasn't leaked since.

Very easy to set up, no leaks. Made a beautiful waterfall and cleared my pond up over night. Very easy to clean as it is outside of the pond. Well made heavy plastic.

This pond filter and waterfall is a great buy. Properly positioned it looks awesome…make sure you have it completely level so the water falls evenly across the spillway. Here’s a couple of tips. The plastic adapter that it comes with which screws into the bulkhead is for attaching 3 sizes of pond type tubing but I wanted to attach a garden hose. To do that you need a 1”NPT to 3/4”GHT adapter. Here is the Amazon link to the adapter. PVC Garden Hose Adapter (1" NPT x... This replaces the black hose adapter pipe, but you will still be using the screw on ‘bolt’ and washer. The hole in the bulkhead is 1”. I just saved you at least an hour of searching! Two things you will have to do. #1: on the 1 inch threaded side you must cut off the quarter inch of flat plastic at the end of the threads. Otherwise the black screw on bolt will not thread all the way down tight to the filter body, which it must. #2: buy a small tube of silicone sealant as the connection at the bulkhead is not very good even when tightened down. Tighten down firmly but carefully (don’t forget the washer) as they are just plastic parts and you don’t want to break anything. Then thoroughly coat the garden hose side of the adapter (outside the filter) where it presses against the washer and the filter unit. I mean slather it on and let dry thoroughly. That way when you start pumping water through, there will be no leaks. Enjoy!

Super easy to setup. I loved this waterfall filter. However, the black ring does absolutely nothing in terms of functionality. Even on lowest possible settings the filter mat and grate floated making it pretty silly even with a great deal of filter media on top. If the pad was made with a hole in the middle then it could be placed securely into bottom but that was not the case. Still a great product.

Exactly what I wanted. Perfect for a small pond. I have a 2500 GPH pump running this and it works great.

It is the best possible filtration for my pond which has 1100 liter water volume, so my pond is now more clean and better oxigenated. It can work easily with a pump which has 4500 l/h water flow (which is almost minimum for that filter flow). I recomend that product for pond owners who want to have really good filter for their pond.

Got this product for my pond waterfall. My old spillway developed a crack on the bottom , but I had it for a long time. This spillway was easy to install, I just put a couple of rocks on top of the filter to hold it down as I had never had to use a secondary filtration alonge with a filter pad. I find that the filter pad is enough. I use a 3600gph pump and the spillway provides a strong flowing waterfall. I pump I use is screened to not allow large debris into the hose. No leak from the hose connection area so far.
