Can the speed be adjusted to a slower pace on the juki 8100E?

Yes. On the motor, there is a speed adjustment knob. It’s good to start out slower to get used to the machine.

You may find the general @ YouTube, searching "set up instruction for industrial sewing machines tables"

Challenging to put together but doable. Great machine does come as others have posted, cracks and chips. Seller says it’s industrial machine so that’s acceptable. Really? Mine came with everything loose in the box.
