Versace Women's Bright Crystal Mini, 0.17 Fl Oz

I love Versace. Typically, I buy the Eau de Toilette concentration of Bright Crystal (and Valentino Roma) because they are such beautiful, subtle fragrances in the lighter, toilette concentration. The lower concentration (vs. parfum) also means the scent does not last more than 4 hours.I decided to try the parfum concentration of the Versace to see if it's a better "one and done", all day option.I initially applied one spray of the parfum behind my neck at the hairline and one spray to my wrist. Immediately, this parfum is clearly much stronger and a little harsh, almost unrecognizable to the toilette version of Bright Crystal. Most of that harshness wore off after 30 minutes and the more familiar fragrance profile took over.Overall Pros: the Bright Crystal parfum concentration smells clean and beautiful after the initial harshness wears off, like the toilette version. The parfum version smells more mature and elegant than the lighter toilette. I can also use much less of the parfum, and I know it will last all day (up to 12-hours).Cons: the parfum is pricier and noticably a stronger. It's harsh upon initial application, but levels out. You'll need to experiment and calibrate how much you use to achieve your personal preference. I also think the parfum returns to being a little harsh at the 8 hour mark.Recommendations for Versace Bright Crystals:Buy the toilette if you're looking for a soft, subtle, "barely there" version of the fragrance that you can confidently wear to work, events, and functions without being overbearing. On me, it lasts up to 4 hours. I love that I can confidently reapply 1 spray after work if I'm going out to dinner or attending celebrations, and it remains soft, quietly confident, but unassuming.Buy the parfum concentration if you are looking for the higher, elegant profile, professional (like wearing a power suit) that will remain lovely all day and no need to reapply. I apply 1 spray to the back of my neck and 1 spray to wrist. One and done for the day.If you're experienced with layering fragrances, you could try either concentration and create something very special to use as your signature scent.

I was a little bit nervous about this because I got some mixed reviews about possibly being fake after wearing it today for several hours. It still smells absolutely amazing. I truly love the smell. I am 47 years old. I think it’s very fitting for a more mature female smell, it is also light enough for someone younger so overall I think it’s an excellent purchase for the price.

Meine Frau sammelt halt Parfums - und sie wollte halt noch ein "richtiges" Versace - ich hatte hr schonmal eins geschenkt, aber das, angeblich; falsche Versace - was zeigt, ich kenn mich nicht aus - ich habs bei Amazon geholt, nach "Namenssuche" - naja. was solls - jetzt hat sie mir aufgeschrieben, wie das Zeugs heisst, bei amazon gefunden - und halt bestellt - wie gesagt - Hase glücklich - und das war nichtmal das teuerste von diesen "Duftwässerchen" - die Liste führt eins von Guc... mit Abstand an. Ansonsten - zufrieden, die Zustellung war, wie immer bei Amazon, völlig problemlos, die Verpackung völlig unbeschädigt --- bin zufrieden - und gerne wieder!
