I used these to make an accent wall for the end of my peninsula. Several were warped but I was able to glue them down successfully.

Just what I needed. Clear wood, no knots and straight. Great for making dowels for gluing wood panels together.

While these are technically made of solid bamboo, each dowel contains as least two joined pieces. At first glance the dowels appear to be a single slab, but when more than two pieces are within a single dowel, the variation in grain is more apparent. I did not stress test these to see if the factory joints fail. I was hoping to use these for an experimental instrument repair, but decided against it for two reasons: glued joints within a single dowl (not solid), and slow delivery (plain maple dowels arrived first). Over all the product seems nice, and will probably be great for furniture repair. If you try to cut these dowels to length, they do tend to splinter due to random grain direction. You must use a fine tooth saw; my flexible flush cut saw worked with minimal splintering.
