Easy to use. Works, provides a result 5 minutes later and the bar is clear enough to see. Like with this type of test it will show you if your Iron levels are within the normal scale or not normal, that is to say either too low or too high. Both is possible, so you will need to contact your health practice for a test that will tell if you are anemic (low Iron) or if your Iron is too high. Vegetarians have usually low Iron but there are hereditary conditions that can lead to high Iron as in the case of my mother who is vegetarian more or less and still has high Iron in her blood. High Iron in the blood can damage the liver and other organs.

if I could I wouldnt give it even one star. Instructions as clear as mud and contents cheap rubbish and the test didnt even work. I dont recommend this, will be using the local pharmacy as they do they test for you and at a small price. This was a complete waste of money.

The test is very easy to use and gives a result in just a few minutes.Having previously used similar types of test I found the process very straightforward, the instructions are clear and include advice on stimulating blood flow, which can be an issue for some people.My only minor gripes are that the T (test) line appeared incredibly faint - so much so that at first glance I didn't see it. This seems to be consistent with other reviews so I suspect it is just the way these tests are. The instructions do however make it clear that a T line, no matter how faint, indicates a negative result.My other observation is that the test had an expiry date of February 2025, so while it is still in date (just) I would urge others to check the date on their tests to ensure that they are still in date. While it wasn't an issue for me, it coud be an issue for someone who is buying the tests for future use.

I’ve tried many home tests, and this ferritin test is by far one of the best. The needle was excellent — it didn’t hurt at all, was quick, and worked on the first try. The whole process was fast, easy, and very clear.The results came back promptly and were easy to understand. Based on the low iron result, I was able to book an appointment with my GP to follow up. This test gave me peace of mind and helped me take action quickly.Highly recommend if you’re monitoring your health at home — it’s accurate, user-friendly, and great value.

There are 2 lancets provided and they are single use. I and then my husband both failed to get any blood out of my fingers using them. This may not be the fault of the lancets as he then went on to stab me repeatedly with a pin and was still unable to draw blood. In conclusion, I may be deficient in iron or I may just have no blood.Update- was able to extract some blood from another body part. The test worked fine. It has told me I am anaemic. So Yay! I guess?!
