I wanted this external hard drive to replace my previous one.Its alittle bit more price wise,but im happy to pay the extra for it.The other brand of hard drive kept getting faulty,that I was using,so I decided to try this one .I found it easy to install,I wanted it to store my Xbox One games for use on Series X.So far im very happy with this hard drive and it runs great,is very quiet too.Looks really good connected to my Series X aswell.In future i think I will stick to this brand of external hard drives.

I decided to buy the western digital black 1tb external hard drive after bought the expansion card for my series x and was impressed by the performance. This hard drive reads my games alot faster that my ageing generic hard drive I had. It's a perfect edition to any console/PC set up a must by for any gamer who want to store last gen games.

Ark survival evolved. GTA5. Minecraft. God of war & Ragnarok. Spiderman; 1, miles morales and 2. such heavy duty games that leaves my 600GB ps5 ragged. AND THIS BEHEMOTH TREATED THEM LIKE NOTHING. this is ABSOLUTELY WORTH EVERY PENNY. trust me its a bit tricky to figure out but once you do. you NEVER have to worry about storage again! i have all these games stored and guess what. I BARELY USED A QUARTER OF ITS STORAGE. best purchase EVER.

My granddaughter is happy with the extra storage that she has.

Overall very good HDD, but when load large game like Diabolo4, can be very slow, but it is not product fault, it is only a HDD not anything crazy, so understandable, 4 star in deed.

I bought this for my Xbox after a less reputable brand of SSD failed after three months. As of this review that drive at 512gb is only $17 less than this drive at 2tb. Um...some would call that a "no brainer." Especially since prices in the hardware tech space has gone through the roof lately. Relative good value is much appreciated. As is the solid quality and backing of this product. With all the latest tech hardware we have today considering storage, its easy to take for granted a good HDD can still get the same job done as a SSD. It did for decades before SSDs became common, and it still does. Though some may have different use cases that require speedier performance and ability, for simple storage, transfers, downloading and the like? HDDs such as this are as solid a choice as ever, and have become a great value as well. This unit works GREAT for my backward compatible Xbox games. I have 600gb worth on the drive with room to spare. Seamless, speedy, smooth operation. And unlike the budget brand SSD I left behind, its backed by a solid warranty from a company that stands behind its products. I won't be overlooking "old school tech" anymore when it comes to my data storage needs going forward. "Tried and true" can still go a long way.

Die Spiele lassen sich schnell und zuverlässig öffnen 4. Das Spiel läuft ohne zu ruckeln und ohne Fehler 5. Die Externe Festplatte ist nicht lautlos, sobald man Kopfhörer aufsetzt aber nicht mehr zu hören, da sie Recht leise ist Fazit: Für Gamer empfehle ich diese Externe Festplatte sehr, es besteht ein gutes Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis
