I bought this flashlight for defense, based on the output and reputation of the name brand. I've had it for about four months now, and it is my go-to tool for nighttime work when investigating noises or my dog's barking. Close your eyes, flash the light momentarily, and you've eliminated your opponent's most effective tool: eyesight! 3200 lumens doesn't sound like a lot compared to some of the 5,000+ lumens foot-long flashlights, but this little guy fits comfortably in my hand with the button conveniently located under my thumb when using the crossed-wrist technique. I've tried the 5,000+ lumen lights, which still blinds me even with my eyes closed, while 3,500 lumens does not! If you are looking for a non-deadly neutralizer for nighttime work, this flashlight will fill the bill nicely!

This company seems to be innovative and always finding ways to make their products better and reliable, I have purchased around five Fenix flashlights in the past many years and still have three that work great, I've used them every night at work and find them to be dependable.

Battery is great, but it heats up depending how long you use it and the strength of the light you use. I like it

The brightness of the flashlight is very helpful as the distance of beam is further than most flashlights.
