Great product. Keeps forever. Bulky but doesn't weigh much. Works very well with all types of plants from flowers to peppers to sweet potatos. A little goes a long way. Haven't noticed any weed seeds in the package which is a concern with some types of garden straw.

This straw is perfect for my garden. I have it spread out around my strawberry plants to hopefully keep it a little cooler and the strawberries from getting dirty when they start growing. Quite heavy! All good quality and very dry when it arrived. Perfect.

This straw smells AMAZING, and is just rough cut enough to be easily spread even amongst new sprouts, while being long enough to hold itself against blowing away in a wind. I've purchased this many times now for my yard projects, and having seen what it looks like a year later, I can confidently say that it will continue to be my go-to! It has broken down nicely and begun providing nutrients for the sow bugs and plant roots. A saw a few sprouts from an errant seed or two, but they were few and far between. It did a great job keeping weeds away from my garden beds too! For how far each bag spreads, the value is worth every penny! It also didn't aggravate my hay allergy as bad as some others did while I worked with it. That alone was a godsend. It also worked extremely well in my compost bins and barrels. I was originally using a mix of sawdust from woodwork and leaf litter as the dry, but this works much better at providing pockets of breathability to the microbes. My finished compost this year has been popping plants up faster than any other!

I love this product. It is clean and light. It does it's job of holding moisture and keeps the mosquitoes from hanging around the garden bed. One of the cons is that it has quite a few grass seeds, but my dog loves the fresh tender blades of grass.

Good price, good coverage, good size mulch, lots of seeds.

This large pack of straw was perfect for my gardening needs. Heat will soon be here and this straw bedding will help keep moisture in the soil to help limit watering.

I read customer reviews before I ordered. I thought I might be lucky in that I wouldn't get seed grass. It rained heavy and the seed is sprouting. I pulled it once but it started to sprout again. I guess I will buy grass killer.

I bought this because straw is supposed to block weeds. But this batch had a lot of grain seeds. So my garden is now filled with sprouting straw shoots. Although the straw does help reduce weeds, it replaced them with young wheat or oat grass. So instead of pulling weeds I’m pulling grass shoots. Needless to say this has been extremely frustrating because I bought this to cut back garden maintenance rather than create an additional weeding task. Don’t buy this.

Wow amazing straw for my garden and delivery was extremely fast

First time use. Thought straw would not have seeds in it but there’s green shoots popping up everywhere in my garden and containers now! Instead of suppressing weeds, it brought them and I paid $ for them ☹️😱🦨
