I bought this to replace a strap that broke on my laptop bag and it is actually better than the original. The padding is thick and makes carrying a heavy briefcase much more comfortable on the shoulder. The metal hooks feel very secure and sturdy, and the 52 inch length is easily adjustable. It is a high quality replacement that works well for duffel bags or messenger bags too.

It’s just a simple replacement gym bag strap but it’s really high quality and does the job. I like that it’s adjustable and easy to clip on. The one downside to this replacement strap is the shoulder “cushion” rectangle. It moves up and down the strap because it’s not sewn down somewhere to hold it in place.

During a trip, the shoulder strap somehow disappeared from my duffel. I thought it was no big deal as the handles were pretty large. I was wrong! I decided to order this strap & it works perfectly. The color is a bit off from the piping, but who cares! The snaps seem strong too. I don't have any upcoming flights that I would have to remove the strap again, so unfortunately can't tell how constant removal may be. Overall though, I'm pleased with the strap.

Great fit as a replacement for one of my carry-ons.

I've had the strap as a replacement for a Targus computer bag for about a month. It has performed well. I've had no issues with it. I think the thing I like most about it is how its clips do not bind on my bag. The clips on the original Targus strap would catch underneath the clips on the bag. I've not had that happen with this strap. My only gripe with it is a feature, not a fault. It does not have rotating connections to the clips, but it never suggested that it did. Having said that, the rotating connection is what broke on my old strap.

Edit: the seller reached out and provided a refund . I’m adjusting my rating because if the quality customer service but leaving my initial review It isn’t universal. I tried to hook it to my Carhartt duffel and the clip is too small. So now it is stuck and I can’t get it off, don’t trust it to hold, and can’t return it because I can’t get it off. So I’m out $8 which isn’t a big deal but also my Carhartt duffel is ruined because I have this stupid strap I can’t get off.
